We just started using this diaper service and I am already loving it! These cloth diapers are high quality, compared to store bought cloth diapers. They are much more absorbent and keep baby drier longer. I am very impressed with this service and it doesn't cost any more than disposable diapers. I would recommend any family to use this service. It is very professional, it is a fantastic alternative to disposables, they are MUCH better for the environment and most importantly they are better for baby.

Baby Diaper Service can be very helpful to new parents, especially first time parents. They deliver fresh cloth diapers once a week. You start with 70 diapers a week (believe it or not, this is what an average newborn uses). It costs about $40 a month. Lots of people will bombard you with opinions on cloth versus disposable, especially in politically correct Seattle. But regardless, Baby Diaper Service can make it easier to get a grip on the new reality of parenting. Our baby never got a rash of any kind with these, and we ended up using them for the first 3 or 4 months.

I personally am not against either, but some people like either or. If you are more on the natural side I think this company would be good for you. Baby Diaper Services provides cotton, soft, and clean diapers and delivers them right to you. After you are done with a batch, you call them up, they pick up the dirty ones and bring you fresh ones. Its pretty much like a rental service with a pickup, and it's quite nice if you don't like doing laundry or going out to constantly buy disposables. Its also very handy if you don't have a lot of time. Everything is brought to you and taken away. Their prices are pretty reasonable too. If you are interested, you should check them out.

We have been using this diaper service for the past year and a half and everyone has been very happy with it. Each week we get a bag of very clean, fragarent free, soft cotton diapers that we use with cotton/plastic wrappers (sold in many places and by this diaper service). It is very easy to use cotton diapers and they even provide a diaper pail. No washing is necessary, just flip the poopies into the toilet (optional but eliminates smells) and drop the diaper in the pail.
The environmental debate between cotton and throw-away diapers is similar to paper versus plastic grocery bags. Here in Seattle we have more issues regarding waste and landfill space rather than water issues. I like knowing that i'm not throwing human waste untreated into land fills where they might leach into water sources.
Annually, cotton diapers also cost less than throw-away. No creepy chemicals touch my baby's precious bum (like the weird absorbant gel in disposables) and she has never had more than a spot or two in the diaper rash experience.
Final big plug for cotton diapers: kids who wear cotton diapers potty train earlier.
