It's a great park to run through and it is located on the cliff of the the beach. Take a run through it's amazing trails. Soak in the sun from the cliff as it sets in the horizon. Or simply ride your bike through the technical sections of trails. It is also a great place to have parties as they have a few shelters for you to do so. I've seen a few tennis courts and baseball parks. Give it a try, the best in west seattle hands down.

Seattle has many good parks. Lincoln Park is an often under appreciated park in West Seattle. The park has numerous trails, for casual walking and hiking. There are good jogging and biking options, and beautiful Puget Sound views. There is also a terrific salt water pool (heated). The pool is very popular with kids and has slides and diving boards for older kids. Younger kids will have a ball too. The pool itself overlooks Puget Sound, right above the beach. Thus the views are really great while swimming and enjoying a lazy day.

I'm often shocked by how often people who live in other parts of the city give me a blank stare when I mention Lincoln Park. In particular, Northenders seem to think they won some sort of public space lottery with Greenlake and Discovery Park and once again I roll my eyes, thinking about Alki Beach (West Seattle has a real, actual beach people) and Lincoln Park.
Lincoln Park is 135 acres of everything you'd ever want in a park, it has hidden trails, play areas and wading pools, secluded picnic areas, ball fields, tennis fields, beach front and Colman pool, which is a heated, outdoor saltwater pool with views of the Puget Sound, housed in a historical building.
