I love this playground and wading pool - they are right next to each other. They're enclosed (for the most part), and they have age appropriate play equipment! You can have one who just learned how to walk as well as your 7 year old with you, and they would both be happy and safe! The only downfall is the sometimes unsupervised company. When my son had just learned to walk, he was toddling in the pool and some wild child poured a bucket of water on his head. He ran off without an apparent parent in sight! Since, I've noticed that since it's right in the center of a city of apartments, parents will send their children down to "play" - but, in the end it's worth it - just steer clear of them...

This place has a huge field with 2 baseball fields and a few tennis courts. Along with that they have a very nice view of the lake and waterfront. The Center itself is relatively new and is kept very nice and clean. I rented the place out for my birthday a few years back and really enjoyed the huge spaces and affordable price.

Bitter Lake Park contains the Bitter Lake Community Center, a very large grassy area, including lakefront areas, a shady playground and a small wading pool. It's a nice pool to come to in the summer because it is not too crowded and it does have some shady areas. However, there is very little grass directly next to the playground or pool. The park has swings, climbing equipment, slides, etc. This is a great park to come to on hot summer days because it is well shaded.

Bitter Lake is a small little center located in the Broadview area. Its a nice place to bring your children to for there are lots of fun activities for them. It next to a lake that you can go swimming in, or there is also a little wading pool for the little ones. They also feature a playground with slides and swings. Inside the community center you will find a gym with basketball hoops, a little ping pong center, vending machines, a computer station and more. There gym facility is used for many purposes such as ballet practice, karate, senior dances, piano lessons and more. They seasonly hold BBQ's there and arrange camps for youth.
