The Meridian Playground is a fun place to take the kids. There's enough room to play organized games and the equipment is all pretty new. Great details with sculptures and quotations from well known childrens books (check out the lifesize bronze Carl dog). Always consider bringing a second set of clothes in the summer. A water spout above the sandbox will be on and kids will get soaked and muddy within the first five minutes. Like most of the neighborhood parks, SOME dog owners violate the law and use it as an off-leash area (there's a sanctioned off-leash area in Woodland Park). Give 'em a good tongue lashing if you have the chance.
