This is the standard by which other plant nurseries should be measured. It's huge and well organized. And the whole place just exudes class. I loved to go there even before I had a yard to plant things in! They have a lovely gift shop and cafe (yummy sandwiches) and many people go there just to eat and then wander around without even really looking to buy anything. They also do free gardening classes.

I like this place so much! They have some unusual nursery items, its not a huge conglomerate, and the seattle community is loyal to this sort of hidden nursery in north seattle. I love christmas...

I like this place so much! They have some unusual nursery items, its not a huge conglomerate, and the seattle community is loyal to this sort of hidden nursery in north seattle. I love christmas season there. In the nursery is a cafe, gift shop also, some funky stuff to buy. They occasionally have good sales too; the staff is helpful also. They have gift certificates for gifts too. I like orchid time and poinsettia time there. I think people feel uplifted when they visit swansons.
