For many years I had my children's photos taken at Yuen Lui with my favorite photographer Earica Brown. Due to life changing events we have not had a chance to make an appointment for some time now. I recently called to make an appointment and was told that Earica is no longer working at Yuen Lui. So sorry to see her go! She was the best Photographer! She was so great with my children. It was always a pleasant experience working with her and the photos were always beautiful. Good Luck to Earica!

We called Yeun Lui to setup an appointment for our 3 month old. They talked us out of the 4 sitting $99 package into a June special. The special was less expensive and included a bunch of photos.... More

We called Yeun Lui to setup an appointment for our 3 month old. They talked us out of the 4 sitting $99 package into a June special. The special was less expensive and included a bunch of photos. After the photo shoot the number of photos included changed. Now they were including only 1 8x10 versus 1 8x10 2 5x7 and 8 wallets. We could have worked through the sales person’s error, but the customer service person was very rude and condescending. There were a couple poses we really liked and I am sure we would have bought a few packages, but life is too short to subject yourself to rude people. What should have been a good day turned into a very sour experience. We won't be back.

Yuen Lui Photography studios are a family tradition for us and many other Seattle families. The photography studios are small, yet versatile. The photographers are creative and do well with kids. They take a lot of shots, so don't fear not having a good turn-out. What I love the most is how they give you a printed sheet of the negatives and a few options done in black/white and sepia tones. You can take a personalized folder home then come back in a few weeks and order the ones you've had time to fall in love with.

There is a photographer names Earica Brown at the downtown (not to be confused with the Roosevelt) Yuen Lui, who is absolutely amazing. You'll love her if you enjoy photos that are truly unique and definitely a far cry from the norm. My son has had several "special occasion" portraits taken there (they are far too expensive to go there regularly) and each time was truly enjoyable and, the pictures were fabulous. The staff is OK and so is the service, but Earica is amazing. I would recommend her for large family portraits, birthday pictures, seniors and holiday sittings.
