I have to admit that Petco was one of the first places Alex and I shopped when we got our first dog. I heard about them over the airwaves, and thought they must be good if they're that big. But now that I have a number of years of doggie ownership under my belt, I'm not impressed. The prices seem to run higher, and we always have to go else where to find our specific brand of dog food.

The first time I purchased a hamster, it came from Petco. Unbeknownst to me as a first-time hamster owner, the one I picked was way too old to be able to socialize to humans well (at least two months old), and had wet-tail. He died three days later. My sister twice purchased goldfish from Petco that also died within a week or two. I was disappointed that the staff sold me what I now know was a clearly sick hamster, and that the fish weren't hardy enough to even survive a very careful transition into a new environment. I urge you to give your business to a more knowledgeable and local pet shop.

This store is so pet friendly! They have lots of varieties to choose from when it comes to cages, leashes, food, and other equipment. They have the coolest fish tank set ups and they offer great services when you are in need. The staff are all really educated and they know what product to sell you regarding whatever situation you may be in. Bring you pet along too, they are pet-friendly!

It's a nice place and the people and workers are just great! They help you out with any problems you have and give you the soultion to any problems concerning your animals. I recommend it to any pet lovers out there! come and enjoy!
