Tish Woods has been our pet sitter for many years. We have found her to be both highly reliable and truly caring about our pets. She always seems to fit us into her schedule, even for those occasional last-minute calls. I feel she is very dedicated to her work. A real advantage is that she has watched our pets grow and age over time, so that she has a long-term perspective on their health and behavior. Our animals, in turn, are very comfortable with her. She has made extra efforts such as staying longer to bring an old cat inside, asking about favorite activities or treats, and reporting back on things that went well or might be helpful next time. She has endured with good cheer long written instructions and periodic phone calls from an anxious mom. I have also found her to be genuinely helpful in sharing the knowledge of animals she's gleaned over the years.

I've used Amore for years. Tish is very reliable and responsible and truly loves animals. She walks my two dogs daily and boards them regularly. While boarding with her, my Lab, Bix, developed a fondness for a neighbor dog. They would visit through the fence and Bix really looked forward to seeing his pal. On her own initiative, Tish made arrangements with her neighbor to replace the fencing with a gate that allowed the two dogs to play together regularly. I was amazed, but it is part of her philosophy of putting the animals first. I highly recommend her.

Tish at Amore Pet Sitting has been taking care of our two cats (one of whom needs twice-daily insulin shots), pet hedgehog, and many potted plants several times a year for at least the last three years. I'm not sure if you meant that you wanted someone to LIVE in your house--she doesn't do that, but she is very reliable and loves all animals (even seems to love our prickly little hedgie). She's always been available to us, even once when I called her just a few days before Christmas. She charges $20/visit, and does charge time and a half on holidays. Her number is 206-363-9664.
