First of all they claim to change ownership when really they don't and seem to just change ownership within the family. The puppies are kept in disgusting cages and there is a terrible foul smell which is a slight update from actual containers that would typically house a reptile. There are several dogs in each cage with feces everywhere. When I bought my dog here it was sick and fortunately turned out okay. Check out yelp where there are several dog owner reviewers who have purchased very sick puppies.

The last time I was in Ridlow, the place reeked of pet waste. We were told that some mice had gotten out, or something, so to watch our step. The place was dirty too. I was there to look at hamsters. They were selling hamsters that were truly babies and shouldn't have been separated from their moms - the one I held, which was friendly enough, was only three weeks old, which is a couple of weeks younger than is usually recommended to sell hamsters. Other people I know who have visited since then have told me the conditions are equally gross. Don't shop here.

I was looking for some supplies for our 2 cats, dog and fish and came across this gem of a store by the recommendation of my sister. What I found was a nice selection of toys, food, accessories and super friendly staff. The girl behind the counter told me all about her pets, we found out that she has two cats and a dog too! We found everything we were looking for and then some. PROS: great selection and terrific staff CONS: parking

I can't say the staff is friendly or not friendly, nor is the place the cleanest or nice smelling, and truly I think my puppy cost a lot of money, but I am sure happy with her. They had many puppies and my little doggie was in good health and didn't have fleas. They send you home with enough stuff to get you started with your new puppy. They also had a variety of pups. I would go back if I was to buy another dog - - even though I typically don't purchase animals. My other two dogs are rescue.
