I first met Jill about 4 years ago, and have been a loyal customer ever since. She is as sweet as the sugar she uses to give the best treatment ever! So much more comfortable than waxing. You will notice the word "sweet" pops up in many of this Spa's reviews because of Jill's warm, welcoming, and simply sweet personality. Combine this with high professionalism, and you have a rare combination in this gem of an aesthetician. As someone who makes a huge effort to shop as close to home (walking distance or short bus ride) as possible, this is the only service I cheerfully make the drive for. No matter how I feel when I arrive, I always leave feeling cared for by a friend.

I've been seeing Jill for years. I started seeing her when I accidentally took off too much of my brow. Thank god for her brow shaping! I can vouch for the great comments from the other reviewers about the benefits of sugar vs. wax, about the quality care and service that Jill and her staff provides, and the relaxed atmosphere that is all about making you feel comfortable. I never feel self conscious as Jill always makes you feel well cared for. I had a family emergency a few years ago and I had to cancel my appointment for emergency travel. Jill kindly offered to squeeze me in and I had a little moment of peace before a week of funeral hell. My brows were a mess, my lip fuzzy, and my skin blotchy from days of crying. She spent 1/2 an hour and simply fixed me. And sent me on the way with soothing skin products. Honestly, it was one less thing to worry about when making funeral arrangements and meeting important family that I had never met before. Not that I cared what I looked like, but I knew I wasn't unkempt and messy and would make my mother proud. SSSpa cared for me when I most needed it. Thanks :)

I have followed Jill for 5 years and would hesitate to go anywhere else for waxing (she uses sugar which is much better than wax; why aren't more people using this?). My brows look great every time I walk out the door and they're never red or bumpy, which always happened with hot wax (pre-Jill). She's the best kind of esthetician; sweet, professional, and cares deeply about your happiness with the final product. Isn't that what everyone wants?

This spa is so great. I have had skin problems for a long time never felt like any esthetician really cared about my skin or issues past my appointment. Jill really sees skin issues as her problem to solve. She actively helps you figure things out without making you feel like you have to buy a ton of products. She does however have some fabulous products and I buy a lot of stuff from her now! She really does her homework and research and makes sure to give you the best products and facials for your budget and skin type. I highly recommend this place and Jill for her expertise and fun loving attitude. Pros: Great products, great employees (Emily and Jill are so sweet and helpful); great facials; Jill does her homework and makes sure to do the best she can for your skin Cons: none at all--I am absolutely and completely a happy customer!

Jill's been doing facials and brows for me for about a year now. When I first came in, my face had dry patches and oily spots. I was just at a makeup counter. The young ex-model helping me out said I had beautiful skin - that I didn't really need any foundation or powder! I credit Jill's genius. Plus, I think Jill's mineral makeup has helped my skin. It's always a treat to drop into Sweet Skin Spa - like hanging out with a gal pal who happens to be an esthetician extraordinnaire.

I've been going to Jill since she moved to her current location and I love her! She justs puts you immediately at ease, which is a pretty handy talent to have in her profession. I have very sensitive skin, and she always knows what my skin needs to make it behave. She has this wonderful cooling mask that feels so wonderful--everyone should try it. She also does a great job on my eyebrows--and they are pretty difficult to tame! Pros: service, location, free street parking

Jill is the greatest!! She has been waxing me and giving me facials for the past few years and I have followed her everywhere she has been and I am so excited she now has her own place. I love that she knows exactly what I need and want before I even say it and I always look great afterwards. She does it all and you can get in and out quick if you need to but will want to stay and chat anyway. The location is great and she has several great products with the knowledge of these products to get you exactly what you need. I have referred several friends to her that absolutely love her! Pros: Easy to get to, Service is fun yet relaxing! Cons: none
