I started going seeing Andrea when she was at Mode (on Roosevelt) a couple of years back. Mode was getting a lot of recognition. I saw a write-up in Seattle magazine mentioning Andrea and the same month a friend referred me to Mode. I had to give it a try. Andrea did a great job and I loved the place. It was a fresh change from (overdone) Gene Juarez. About two to three haircuts later, Mode changed to a non-independent shop and Andrea moved on. I followed her to a little shop in "Tangletown" by Greenlake (at Inis Salon). It was worth the move, because the haircuts are consistent and interesting, and so is Andrea. She actively travels to stylist workshops so she has fresh ideas. She offers great products and a cute shop. When its time for a cut, I start my morning with a coffee from Zoka (across the street) and leave with a great haircut from Andrea. I recommend her--just don't take my Saturday morning (every 10 weeks) time slot.
