When our small office has overwhelming paperwork that must be copied we always call western. They are a family run business. They come and pick up the documents and bring them back well before our requested deadline. They even deal well with our requests (my favorite being separating packages with muticolored paper, or copying each document different number of times according to the notes) without making a mistake. They are also equipped to handle sensitive legal records. They have helped us get through many tough deadlines and are always very helpful and friendly. Though their service can be somewhat expensive (however no more than Kinkos) I feel that the personal attention is worth every dime.

I took the time to interview and take their tests. I dressed professionally, brought a solid and impressive resume, and gave all-around good interview. They told me how excited they were; that there were tons of jobs for me (customer service and sales with over 25 years of great experience); that they were "marketing me".
As requested, I followed up with weekly phone calls but nothing... Not one lead. Not even a temporary day labor position, nothing - after an entire year. Thank goodness I wasn't counting on them!

After I moved to West Seattle from California, I started bringing my two cats here on a coupon. We have seen most of the vets here, but in particular Dr. Johnson and Dr. Quincy. They are gentle and thorough and always take time to answer questions, explain options and treatments, and I have found them helpful in giving price estimates for planning out my cats' health care. Staff are caring too. They have people that come in for some specialized things like ultrasounds and cardiology, and refer out for more complex operations. I finally lost my two old kitties, and one of them I had put to sleep here. They were very compassionate, explained everything, and gave us plenty of time alone to say goodbye. They have also been very helpful assessing and treating my new shelter & rescue kitties who all had different problems when they came to me. Once or twice I have felt an individual missed something or I disagreed with a charge, but this has been more than compensated for by their long-term competence, caring and flexibility. If your medications are not time-urgent, check whether you can buy from Amazon, or even Costco or a drugstore, as most vets are pricier to buy medication from. If $ is not an issue and convenience is, buy here and help support the great vets, staff, and nice facilities, all of which cost $! I took my jeans here because I needed a replacement zipper. There were communication problems because most of the employees did not speak english, but once I got someone who did they were helpful and friendly. It took about a week to get my jeans back (not sure if this is good or not) but I was very impressed with the job that they did. It cost me about $20 which seems a little pricey, but am not sure because I have never had this done before. I would definitely go again though.

This a great costume purchase and/or rental store on Roosevelt at about NE 71st St called Vintage Costumers that has all kinds of period clothing - it runs the gamut from old style European gowns and finery to Catholic school girl costumes. I've rented from them in the past. It's on the west side of Roosevelt just north of NE 70th so near the Whole Foods store.
The only drawback is since so many of the costumes are one of a kind you may not find what you want in the size you need.

I actually bought from the one in Bellevue, but there are plenty of stores in this area. They have a great selection, and I like them because you can bargain on the final price. Unlike a retail store like Best Buy, they are more dependant on your current and future business, and will work with you to make you a "deal". I have been perfectly happy with my purchase from there, and it was really a great price. Much cheaper than anywhere else I could find. If you don't like Video Only, you may also want to consider Magnolia Hi-Fi. They aren't as specialized and typically a little higher in costs, but similar in nature.
