This place is fun, big, and spacious. We thought it would be perfect for a birthday party for about 20 people, although we wanted to play pool more than bowl (they have a good number of pool tables). We called a few days before and they told us the pool tables were "first come, first served." When we got there, all the pool tables were reserved ... not a single one available ... for a large party. No one mentioned that to us when we called, so we complained, waited an hour, and they squeezed us into two lanes of bowling. NOT ACCEPTABLE RESERVATIONS MANAGEMENT!!
This was our second time there; several people in our group complained ... as did some friends from the first time we went there, and so did we ... that their drinks are very, very weak. We don't know how they're pouring, but a mixed drink there is no more than half of what it is at most typical bars in Seattle.
Finally, the food. Not the best quality although a pretty diverse menu. But worst of all, it took about an hour for it to arrive. Apparently the big party they had there got the kitchen backed-up. However, in a place as large as this, they need to be able to manage effectively the number of people that it is built to hold.
The staff was mixed ... the first manager with whom we complained (about the reservations) was a jerk and didn't seem to care. The second was a woman who tried to go out of her way to help us, and she was clearly overwhelmed by the chaos and how overcrowded they were that night.
Management, take heed! Improve your reservations process and how you inform people over the phone about parties! Also, have an independent bartender(s) test your drinks ...
Pros: Great location, nicely appointed, spacious
Cons: Very light drinks, misrepresents reservations

It was wonderful to walk into a bowling alley that didn't smell like stale smoke. It fairly new so 40 lanes, the restaurant, lounge are new and very clean even the bathrooms are nice. Very kid friendly but don't go on the week end alot of kids around. The staff is friendly but I found the prices a little on the high side you need to get there early on the weekend to find a parking space during the week is better.

The other night was my first time at ACME and was impressed with the size of this venue. It was a week night and did not have to worry about getting a lane for open bowling - more often than not, when I've looked for bowling on a weeknight in the past and you have to worry about if there will be an open lane or not and usually hear the line "no open lanes because of leagues." Not here, at least from what I could tell. Also, the location is convenient... close to S. Center mall, so easy access from I 5 or I405 or even 509.
Pros: Thumbs up. Clean. Good food.
Cons: Don't get lost: Andover Park WEST is easy to mix up with Andover Park EAST

Can't talk about bowling without a Grease reference. I went this week with a group of 12 people, and I was shocked at the personal attention you can receive here. My drinks came lighting quick, and were litterally waiting for me when I turned around from my turn. At the end our waiter told us to leave our shoes and bowling-balls and he would take care of them. That's when I really like it. I didn't have to hoist all the bowling-balls back or shlep my shoes up to the counter. The entire atomsphere was clean and relaxed. Only con was my forarm hurting because we bowled and extra game!
Pros: Large open feel, clean facility, good service, drinks & food
Cons: Bathrooms seem far away since it's big

So we had a group event here last night and I really have to say, WOW! I hadn't been here before and it was a fun time! We were able to reserve our own lanes for our group and pre-order a food spread that was really great! It was a Southwest food theme that was good quality and had a great presentation, not what you'd expect at a bowling alley. We also had our own server to order drinks from. Kurtis was very friendly and very efficient! We didn't wait for drinks and he was great at suggesting something new that was spot on with my preferences. I was just impressed with how clean and modern this place was. Definitely somewhere I will bring my son for our night out!! All in all, a fabulous time!!
Pros: Excellent Service, Clean Lanes, Atmosphere
Cons: Can be a wait for lanes on weekends, but just be prepared and come early :)

My work had a corporate event at ACME Bowl last night. I had never been to the place before and was impressed. Bowlig was fun, but the alley has so much to offer. We had the Santa Fe spread for dinner which was very tasty. In addition, they have multiple big screen tv's so I was able to watch the NHL playoffs and the Mariners game as well. The bar is full service, the drinks were good and the staff very helpful.
I will be back with friends.

Here's why I like it:
1) Atmosphere- There's always a diverse crowd here. I don't go here during the week, but on the weekends there's always tons of kids, families, and elders. On top of that, there's the young, hip crowd and company groups, also. And I think even some asian foreigners. It could a fun people watch place, as well. All the music videos, TV screens, and lights definitely swing the mood. A place worth an above-average dress code. Really cool.
2) Bowling- As an avid bowler myself, there's plenty of lane choices. It's pretty fun if there's not too many inconsiderate bowlers and families, which has sometimes been a problem on the weekends for me. Oil conditions are never steady, though. Note: Since people often order food on the lanes, make sure the ball finger holes aren't greasy, food and garbage are cleared, and lanes clean (on occasion if someone slips past foul line, they bring oil back on the dry area). One day I saw these stupid girls sliding on the lanes with their socks on. I thought why the heck is management not doing anything about it and people are paying top dollar to be here? Make sure you get in management's face if you have issues, especially for the price you pay.
3) Bar- I was one of the original regulars on Seahawks games when this place first opened up! =) The food is pretty good. I love the Szechuan burger: juicy, messy, taste (if cooked right), and the pineapple does it right. Beware of some dishes that are rather large (nachos) or rather small. I go here for the massive wide screen on game days. I don't drink.
4) Facility- Cool, clean, modern! Great shop, too.
Note: mgmt should monitor lanes better for inconsiderate behavior and lane cleanliness.
If you're going just to bowl, you have to consider the price is above-average because it's brand new, cool, hip, state-of-the-art, big screens (thus, premium cable), near the mall, etc. The Early Bird special is $2/game, albeit predictably busy. Cheap games are what Skyway has.
Pros: Sunday special(s), Parking, Lots of big screens, Cool facility, Food.
Cons: Inconsiderate bowlers, Mall crowd, Lane cleanliness.
