I wish I had read reviews of Redi National before I spent two years on contract with them. I was desperate to be rid of a dead rat in my attic and others getting in. The technician who came out was great as was the one who set up the traps for maintenance. Since then the service has been lackluster.
But when it came time for me to cancel my service (no rats, and I can handle the maintenance cheaper on my own)they have gone out of their way to avoid me.
I've been consistently told that I have to speak with the sales manager who is never available and will call me back. I waited 2 weeks the first time before I tried again... "I'm sorry he's not here". Now it's come to, "he's here but wants to leave, I'll have him call you back." At this point, I'm just going to stop paying the monthly bill and file a complaint with the BBB to have it on record.

If your looking to spend a *@ load of money and NOT alleviate your home of your pest problem, call Redi National. This company is managed by a relentless, unappreciative tyrant, and micromanaged by uneducated, journey level subordinates who treat their employees like mules. If your a current customer and have wondered why the customer service rep's and technician's are disgruntle, rude, and do halfway work? Try working for Redi National which has it's employee's work 6-7 days a week, 10-12 hour's a day, requires the tech's achieve 15-20 route stops a day (plus any "extra service" call's) by any mean's necessary? All while being underpaid, sleep deprived, and malnourished (with the ridiculous work schedule, there's no time to eat, sleep, have a life)?? How can any human being provide quality work and have a smile on their face being treated as slave's in a sweat shop? As stated below, it's not the employee's, it's management that's the problem. How do I know this? I myself am also a former employee. Wonder where your $60 monthly fee, and $1000+ cleanout expenses are going? Show up at the corporate office during business hour's on the first business day of every month and ask the owner of the company himself. Not sure which one is him? He'll be the one arriving in $50,000 Corvette's all the while you can't even afford to pay your own car note because you just shelled out $6000 for a halfway cleanout. It's your hard earned money, spend it wisely and avoid REDI NATIONAL PEST ELIMINATOR'S!!

As a former employee, If you want a tech who is not trained, who needs to lie [to keep a contract and to make it to the next customer], who is tired and works 2-3 weeks in a row with no day off, who works on commission for as little as 1400.00 a month for up to 240 hrs a month then call this company. If you want good service call a small company with hourly paid employees who are happy and don't feel rushed to get 15 -20 stops a day done, including extra calls and emergency. The problem is not the techs they are under paid and tired, they have no reason to care, they just need to get paid, support their families and hope to find a real job!

Rats are clever and persistant. If you're going to get them out of your house and keep them out, you have to do all the work Redi National recommends, especially to find and close up entry points. Redi trapped five rats in our house in short order. That was two years ago. We've not had another rat in the house. The bait boxes show lots of activity -- there are plenty of wild rats ready to move in if we let down our guard. The techs have been great: polite, punctual, and effective.

about 2 yrs ago we realized we had a carpenter ant problem. They came out sprayed the house and signed us up for a service contract. Since that time we have had the regional manager out twice to assure us that his technicians were doing there job. Growing suspicious we had the neighbor keep an eye on them while we were at work. Lo and behold they were only at the hose ten minutes at a time. needless to say this has been $3000 mistake. i would not recommend them to an enemy. I'M CALLING ORKIN.

Pretty much what everyone else is saying. We had a rodent problem in Edmonds area. Tech came out and charged 660.00 to begin the process. After several weeks my tenant began smelling something terrible. I asked a friend who used to be in the pest control industry to take a look. He found 6 rats nests inside the home. One behind the stove, washer, desk, tv, fridge and behind the dishwasher. This was 2 weeks after Redi National had been there. I called to cancel and they wanted to hold me to the contract. I said I would continue for 6 months but no longer and said I would bring the tenant and individual who found the nests with me to court if they pressed.
I would stay away from this company unless you're willing to receive poor workmanship for an entire year!

We found out we had rodents when our dog started trying to scratch into the heating vents. We called redi national and they came out and told us yep we have a rodent problem under our house and it was pretty bad. For $600.00 they came and blocked the entry ways and set bait stations around our house. It was great for a while, until the rats somehow got back under the house. Everytime a rat was caught in a trap, it would smell really bad. I'd call and they would take forever to come out to get it. They are supposed to come and get it within 24 hours. The receptionists are rude. And the guys that they have come out are nice but just do half-a**ed work. The monthly fee is $60.00 a month and it's just not worth it.

We had a rodent problem and called this company. Their schtick is that they don't do one-time work, but only offer "maintenance" contracts, the minimum length of which was 12 months. This began to set off alarms, but we were desperate to eliminate the problem, so we signed on.
The original estimator that came out and got us to sign the contract was a decent guy. After that, every single other person we dealt with from this company was extremely shady. I won't get into all of the details of our nightmare, but it included the following issues:
1) Outright, bald-faced lies from company employees
2) Repeated missed appointments
3) Completely unresponsive management
4) Excessively poor, even hostile, telephone "customer service"
In the end, we had to file a report with the BBB and threaten a lawsuit to get any response from the company. Avoid this company at ALL costs. You've been warned.
