I wish I can give them ZERO or Negative! I don't know how the other Grease Monkey operates, but I sure won't go back to the one in Ballard. They don't know how to give a price quote and they just charge you with way more amount than the price quote. If the quote price won't even be close to the actual price, what's the point? Yes I do understand the atucal price and the actual price is not going to be the exact same. But I would expect it to be closer. If you got time, read below for the details... When I confronted the manager about the actual price is being way off than the initial quote, NO applogy but the silly excuses and LIES! Following is basically what I was told. Because of these reasons it is ok for them to give you inccorrect price quote and charge you more later. 1) We don't know what kind of fluid we need for your transmission by knowing Car Make, Model, and Year. We have to know the lisence plate information. We have to put all the information in the conputer to get which fluid to use. (Really? I didn't know the lisence plate tell you that much. I just called a few other oil change places, they told me the lisence plate info is not needed to give me a price quote.) 2) We gave you the stargting price quote. (Well I gave the ball park price to the receptionist, and she confirmed that it shouldn't be more than the price I mentioned. If she doesn't know, don't confirm without researching!!) 3) The service would be more expensive at the dealership store. (Yeah but that does't give you a reason to over charge?) 4) The manager is going to train the receptionist again even though he traind her two weeks ago. (So? That sounds like your problem and not mine!) Seriously, do they even know what Price Quote means? Pros: Nothing good here Cons: Lies, Lies, and more Lies

Pros: fast, friendly, clean, professional Cons: they need to stay open past 6pm

BEWARE OF BALLARD GREASE MONKEY!!!!!!! Went in for an oil change and came out with my car making a scary noise. Turned out that one of the technicians had failed to replace my air intake cover AND left a rag in my engine compartment!....the rag had been sucked onto my air filter! Went back to tell the manager what had happened, and he offered no apologies and failed to take any responsibility for the negligent actions of his employees. EXTREMELY BAD BUSINESS!!!! If you value your car and good customer service, STAY AWAY from Ballard Grease Monkey! Tell your friends!

I had a coupon for a 19.99 oil change. I said I wanted the standard 19.99 oil change, nothing special. The manager who was helping me said it is normally $12 more for 4x4 (which I have), I realized that it was mentioned on the coupon that 4x4s are more, so he wrote off the $12. I was a bit surprised to see the workers smoking while working on my car (no where near the interior). Overall, they are a rough looking crowd of workers, but very professional and nice. I am a 23 year old female who had gone in by myself and they did not try to sell me anything extra. Additionally my oil change only took about 15 minutes. Ill be back!

I take my car here for the 3,000 mile oil change. They are quick and very convenient. It's easy to drop the car, go grocery shopping and come back to a finished maintenance check. There are also coupons in the local mailers all the time that give you pretty affordable options for full service and basic visits. Other major repairs not to be done here, but the basic stuff is great!
