Since I didn't have health care coverage for a while, it was nice to go to Bastyr and get excellent treatment for an affordable price. I kind of like the longer visits because then you feel like people are paying attention and listening. I found my doctor through Bastyr (Dr. Melissa McClintock) and I see her privately now (the teachers sometimes have their own practice so you can skip the students if you just want to talk to your own doctor). They have a wide range of services which is nice too if you are new to natural health. And the apothecary is actually affordable.

There are many different Naturopath physicians to choose from here. It is also a teaching clinic so you can go that route and have an intern. My primary care provider is Dr. McClintock and she has been great. They also do acupuncture, chinese medicine and many other holistic options for health. The dispensary on the main floor is great. Parking is in back and can get a bit tight in the afternoons – so try for AM appointments.

This is a good clinic in Wallingford where you can interface with students at Bastyr - a natural health University. Whether you're looking for a Naturopathic visit, accupuncture, or a homeopathic medicine work-up, this is a good place to start. I don't know their exact pricing because it seems to vary based on your own situation, but it's very reasonable and many services are covered with health insurance.

At Bastyr, I have seen naturopathic doctors on a number of occassions. When I was a student, they have a reduced free of $20. Since this is a clinic, the visits take longer in that you first see the student doctor(s) and then the supervising ND comes in, then they leave and develop a treatment plan for you. But, it's worth the lengthy visit in that the care is very high quality. I brought my infant son here for recurring ear infections, and their suggestions were quite helpful.
