I love Annie's Nannies. They have been nothing but helpful in helping us find our last 3 nannies/personal assistants. We have also used their temporary services - that is actually how we found one of our nannies. I have always felt that they took the time to understand our family needs and sent us very qualified candidates. They check in with us and have always been willing to work with us. I highly recommend them in finding safe and reliable childcare and personal assistants. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Our two daughters have been deliriously happy with each of the sitters we've gotten from Annie's Nannies. They are always experienced, love children, respectful -- in other words, ideal! It's such a blessing to know you can call an agency and get such top-notch people. We don't use a nanny, but the sitters we get are usually nannies for someone else, so I put that they are excellent too. I do recommend calling Annie's Nannies for your childcare needs.

I'm taking the time to write a review so no one has to experience what we did. Their placement director, Teah, did not advertise our position for 5 months--forcing us to use their pricey temp service. We found out most of the temp nannies were not CPR certified, at best were sub-par, and one was downright neglectful. The agency (Teah and Annie, the owner) was unresponsive to our concerns, defensive, and unprofessional. We were shocked. I would never trust your child to their care!

We used their temp service during a family emergency and found a long term nanny we really liked. We paid the $2500 fee anticipating we would have the nanny at least a year.
When the nanny left early (after 5 mo because of her pregnancy), they were unable to offer us any replacement, and did not provide even a day of the backup childcare they advertized. Nor have they refunded any fees. Annie's Nannies has terrible service and misleading advertising. The nanny was great, but the agency was a rip-off.

After hiring a Nanny through Annie's nannies I found that she had been let go from or quit multiple jobs that I wasn't told about (including at least one placement that Annie's knew about) and that she did not have current CPR training.
When the nanny quit our job with no notice (and owing us money), we tried to use their free replacement guarantee. We had a very difficult time getting replacements from Annie's. It took almost a week to get a response to email and we received three resumes in a month! When we checked into those resumes ourselves (not wanting to trust the background screening this time) we found problems with them as well.

In my 12 years of nanny experience, there are two ways to go to get a job, with an agency and without. If you go by word of mouth or by newspaper, you'll end up with the more balanced/normal families but you'll get paid less with few benefits. If you go with an agency, go with Annie's Nannies! I went through many agencies, and they were by far the most organized and easy to work with! You can expect, when going through any agency, however, to end up with families that are already a little off-balance and demanding, but you get paid a lot more AND there are benefits (like paid vacation). So, there's pros and cons.
