I'm from the east coast. This is by far my favorite place to get my nails and toes done. The staff are well-trained and friendly. Their acrylic nails are always perfect - no matter who I've had do them there. Pedicures are just as good! Very highly recommended?

went there once for a cut and i thought it was great. nice people, nice atmosphere, comfy chairs while you wait, easy to get an appt, etc. and i got a really nice cut which is all that really matters. so i went again and i got THE worst cut ever.
i was very specific about just trimming what i already had, not taking too much length off, etc. somehow they chopped a ton off of my hair and made it look like a big, rectangular football helmet. i felt like frankenstein.
when i went to talk to the manager it was hinted to me that i'd have to pay to get it recut! i asked why and they started getting into how the person who cut my hair worked "at" the salon, not "for" the salon. i nicely explained that any business arrangement should be kept away from me, especially since i paid the stewart salon, her business cards said stewart salon, my confirmation call was from the stewart salon, etc. i ended up getting my money back.
when i went elsewhere to have it recut the guy cutting my hair actually gasped at how uneven and bad it was.

I saw a sign advertising a $30 mani/pedi special and figured it would be worth a shot. I walk by this place all the time, but had never tried it. I went with a co-worker. It was a great way to end the day, soaking my feet in the tub, having my nails buffed and trimmed. Both my hands and my feet looked great after the treatment. The only downside is the glaring fluorescent lights, they detract from the relaxation process.

I have been going to Spa Envy for 2 -1/2 years and they are the best!!! I have had nail services from Juarez for many years and in high end hotels and the nail service at Spa envy is better than all of them!!!

This nail shop is otherwise non-descript; it's located in a strip mall along 1st ave in Burien.
However, if you need a mani/pedi in a jiff...or you're watching your budget- this is the place to go.
The salon itself is pretty big and rather airy- so no major toxic smells- which was a blessing when I was pregnant and convinced I would be poisoning my unborn child simply because I needed a mani/pani to feel better about my over-bloated self.
The prices are reasonable and they have a wide selection OPI nail polish, which is always a good thing...

Salon Montoya is a small salon floating right on Lake Union. (This is important to know because when a boat gets too close to the pier, or nudges it - you will think an earthquake is happening - but it's just the building rocking.
That aside - I love this place. Tim is a genius with the scissors and with color. He is not afraid to make suggestions and is personable and easy to talk to.

I started going to Sally's while I was still in college and continue to go back since I've graduated. Although it's not the poshest nail salon in the area (it actually looks a bit scary if you've never been), I have found that the staff is friendly and they do a great job. Plus, it's the cheapest place in Seattle to get a mani/pedi and any wax job. Mani/pedi is only $25 and eyebrow was is $8, the cheapest I've seen anywhere. During the school year, call ahead to make an appointment, as she has a booming college business and it's often impossible to walk in.

I am very happy with Qtini Spa. I am a return customer for pedicures. The atmosphere is nice, bright and clean. The staff a friendly and fast, and do a good job. I would recommend it as the best place for a manicure or pedicure in Magnolia.
