I thought these guys were great! They handled my entire move in less time then they had estimated. Everything was moved carefully and my furniture was put exactly where I wanted it. My moving day was breeze and I would hire them again.

I'm a realtor and after a client raved about this company I hired them when I had to move. This is my third time using a moving company and it was the only good experience I've had. On time, on budget, careful, helpful. They pointed out furniture that didn't have felt pads, then offered to put the pads on the feet so my wood floor wouldn't get scratched. Amazing. And you can even borrow boxes from them for the move!

I have used this company for 3 moves now. The workers are courteous, professional and careful. The rates are very competitive. They go the extra mile to insure that nothing is damaged (removing light fixtures so a large furniture item does not break them). I would recommend these guys to anyone wanting peace of mind during a move.

I used Happy Haulers this spring to remove all sorts of junk before I sold my house and they were friendly, and very helpful. Their pricing is really reasonable and their "unofficial phone quote" was a close estimate. They had to come back with a truck with a hydraulic lift gate to remove a section of sewer that had been here before me and the price will still under $90.00. I highly recommend them for their pricing, service, recycling and debris removal!

Everything about this experience was wonderful. The friendly helpful customer service in setting up the move, the skilled, efficient (amazingly fast), careful, professional movers, all made this a worthwhile experience. I will never move myself or children again. I will always call Express Movers.

Dependable Movers helped us move from the U-District to Capitol Hill this past Monday. We used another company a year ago and I must say that DM were much better. LAST TIME the last company we used (which shall remain nameless) scratched several items, and some things even went missing! But with DM the move was flawless. They arrived on-time, worked hard and fast, and wrapped and packed everything carefully, not unlike it was a newborn baby. Awesome.

they were punctual, hard working, careful, professional, and very friendly across the board. for this move, they came in under their estimate.
it should be said that we prepared well for the move -- boxed and organized everything carefully, moved a small volume of extremely fragile and valuable things ourselves, thought about where everything would go in the new space in advance. doing that kind of thing will improve your cost and experience, regardless of whom you use to help.
a few of their movers were finishing up a move down the street, and they called them over to help out, even though it definitely drove the time (and thus the bill) down. i wouldn't expect that kind of thing to happen every time, but it demonstrates great character. highly recommended.

I have experienced two in city
moves with this company in the
past four years. I could not
recommend Mike and his crew more highly. They are fast,
efficient, helpful and considerate. They arrived on time and completed the job within the estimated time frame. Their charges were very reasonable and not a single item was damaged or broken in either move.
