I am so glad my Target card came today, Friday, December 22. I think it was so nice fo them to order the cards before Christmas and give us a chance to use them. Thus, I will be using mine tomorrow (Sat). Judy's Book continues to impress me and to try and get and KEEP new members. They seem to realize their mistakes and correct them or either not make them in the first place. I am grateful for the card. 15 reviews are not that bad, and they usually go fast if you are in a writing mood. Thank you again, Judy's Book!

Oh well, must be some sort of cosmic revenge, as I myself work in advertising.

I bought a big beautiful average Toyota Avalon in the hopes of never or at least rarely needing a mechanic. Well, someone else was driving my car and hit something big and now the rear right wheel makes a ruckus and it sounds like a jet is taking off in my trunk! And even though the car is average, my personal feeling is that it is the best most above average car I've ever owned. I had no idea where to take my totally average car. I asked my neighbor where he takes his. He told me. Duh, I then got on Judy's book and of course the highest rating for a toyota mechanic is for the same mechanic that my neighbor reccommended! And, it's only 2 miles from my house!!! I've never been so excited about my car going to the mechanic before!
I LOVE JUDY'S BOOK! It helps me make good, well informed decisions about where I'm going to spend my hard earned money. Thanks! Hilary Dahlstrom

This place is addicting, is it not? I always go to the Internet first before the phone book just because of ease, not so much reliability. However, upon discovering Judy's Book, I found reasonable people with very rational, detailed reviews of actual restaurants/salons/etc. This is a great community and it seems we really have frequented almost every coffee shop, movie store, spa known to the Seattle area! I hope this place doesn't get as bogged down as city search did... I love the organization of this web page too much to have it get too complicated! Keep up the good work reviewers!

I must say that at first I was hesitant on getting advice from the Internet. That big brother is watching thing. But once you start, you can't stop. How did we live so long without the information highway at our fingertips? And even though, judysbook.com seems to be newer to the game than some other search engines, it is a great way to get and give information on local businesses. I'm glad to be a part of it.

It's the perfect place to go when your friends are sick of listening to you being over-opinionated about stores, restaurants, movies, CDs, etc. If you love to write reviews...and know a lot about your home town, this is the place for you!

Referral services proflierate, and each has to justify why it is better than the last to survive. Citysearch, the venerable grandfather, has been of failiing health. Every time I visit, another feature has vanished into electronic senility. Was maintaining the site just too much work? Did the original architects leave an inheritance of spaghetti code? We may never know. Judy's Book still lags behind the competition in some areas. Citysearch is better for searching in a narrow area, and InsiderPages has more businesses listed. Judy's search engine is also merely so-so. On the other hand, Judy's communications and networking is a generation beyond the others. Presumably Judy can catch up in search technology and depth of content. Organizing the site by "posts" rather than business is a good step, IMHO. Judy's has huge potential and is only going to get better.
