I actually like Azteca. I don't go often, but when I do I know exactly what to expect. I always get the Chicken Fajitas, and they're good. Not great. Not anything to write home about, but they hit the spot.
My husband's family is from Mexico, so he of course hates it. I guess that explains why I don't make it in there very much...
So if you're in the mood for decent (non-authentic) Mexican, this is a decent bet.

Seattle is not known for it's plethora of Mexican restaurants. We may have a few Taco del Mars and Chipotles running about, but other than that, you're subjected to places like Azteca---- Mexican food as Americanized as we can make it! I appreciate the price and the quick service, but I do not appreciate poor quality meat and vegetables that should've been thrown out days ago. Azteca is a chain of restaurants and it should be treated as such; minimizing output costs and hoping the masses will not notice, therefore increasing incoming profits. Wait till Seattle opens up a few more authentic Mexican restaurants and pass on this chain.

The only good thing I can say about Azteca is that it is predictable. Seattle has a dearth of Mexican restaurants and so finding a good one can be difficult. If you like American Mexican food you may like it but if you are looking for something unusual and fresh I would recommend going somewhere else.

this place feels like home! i go here so often that most of the waiters know what i want as soon as they see me, right down to the fact that i have to have the cherry in my pina colada! this is a great family restaurant, but also great to go to with friends or that special someone! the big cushy boothes, and not to mention the chips and salsa make you so comfortable that you never want to leave. so, don't , order another margarita instead, and make it a macho ramos rita, they're the best!

Hola! Say hello to great authentic Mexican food that is affordable and local. I really enjoy eating at Azteca here in Seattle because it reminds me of the hole-in-the-wall type of Mexican restaurants I used to go to in L.A, but its right down the street. Even though they are a chain, they truly keep the atmosphere and taste of a local cantina. The chips are always warm, the salsa just spicy enough and the entrée portions are HUGE! You get a lot of food for your money and everything I’ve tried is amazing. The wait staff is friendly and music fun. A great place to go when you’re in the mood for something a little better than your local Taco joint.

Great place to go if you are in a hurry but the food is very mediocre.
These places are so large its hard to get any sort of special attention from waitstaff.
They have a wide variety of Americanized Mexicanfood and a full bar.
This place is also very kid friendly.
We have had a couple kids b-days here.
