When I first moved to Seattle, I was going to UW and didn't have a car, so the Mexican restaurants that were convenient to school weren't that great, which is how I came upon Azteca to begin with. The service is great, the people were really nice and everything, it's just the food that kills the place. Once my friend ordered vegetarian fajitas, and the veggies had literally gone bad, no joke. The server took them back and apologized of course, but how the kitchen let those arrive at our table is a totally different story. Overall the food is sub-par, I wouldn't recommend. Pros: Cheap Cons: Food is NASTY

I needed a place to study for about an hour and figured I would stop in for some mexican food as I was driving by. I thought for sure I would have some time to study while I waited. I ordered and my food came in about five minutes. I couldn't believe it. When I was done, I was able to study, drink my soda and let my food settle before and was on the go again.

Azteca is decent enough Mexican food but not great. Their fajita quesadilla and poblanos in scrambled egg are the only dishes I find to be consistantly good. The service at the Northgate location has declined since their move and remodel. Mojitos are awful, sangria is pretty good. Prices still reasonable enough and parking is readily available. Pros: good parking Cons: average food, service decline
