Ian's is a great place for edgy women's clothing. I've worked with one of the staff there, Joshua, twice, and even tho during the sales I've gotten none of the crap you get sometimes from taking advantage of sales. They carry Vivenne Westwood Anglomania, Margiela, Clue, G Star and more so a good range of medium to high end. You wont' see your twin on the street when you buy here and the sales are fabulous. The women's clothes are on the 2nd floor, men's on first floor--divide and conquer.

My husband and I went to the 2nd Avenue location of Ian's and it was a great experience. The items were a bit pricey, but most of the store was on sale. My husband is small, and department store smalls are usually a bit big on him. Ian had a great selection of slimmer cut, fitted shirts. The sales clerk, Butch, helped us find what we were looking for. We will definetely go back!

There are two of these stores in the Seattle area, one downtown on Second and one on Pine. Their overpriced jeans are the same ones you can buy at any other boutique. The stores are clean, well lit, and keep a pretty good selection going. It’s so far been a nice shop and the service has been perfectly acceptable.

Ian has got some really cool clothes but the question of whether or not you'll wear them always seems to pop up in the back of my mind. Don't get me wrong they all look great on the hangers and in the changing room but once you get home and start thinking about where you are going to actually wear them options start to get limited, at least they did for me. It's worth checking out but I find it rare that there's more than one or two things that I'm actually willing to drop the cash on.
