As a woman who'se in outside sales, I get SO sick of people trying to pull things over on me or wheel & deal with me. I did research for weeks on the cars I wanted...then finally went to take some test drives with a boat-load of knowledge. I met a guy named Frank at U Mazda & told him up front what I was looking at, I wanted to test drive it & then a price quote...no BS. He looked like he'd the "typical" sales guy, but I was pleasantly surprised. We hopped in a car, drove it around, he answered all of my questions & gave me a quote on the spot. The quote he gave me was lower than any of the internet quotes I had requested; even prices after MULTIPLE internet quotes...and that was his FIRST one. He also gave me advice on how I could get the options which I needed/wanted but pay less without the whole "package" deal which came with things I didn't care about. He didn't waste my time or ask me to buy that day as he knew I was selling my car first. He didn't pester me at home with calls or e-mails (only one follow up e-mail). I decided to wait three months to purchase my car & will still go back and ask for Frank because of his service & candor.
Pros: Frank, easy to find, small dealership (no lurking salesmen everywhere)
Cons: Smaller inventory & fewer used cars.

I went to University Mazda for the convenient location. I didn't end up buying a car from them because I got a better price elsewhere. However, the salesperson was friendly enough and didn't mess around with me. He gave me the information that I needed and there was no hassle. It was a quick and good experience.

While car shopping, I stopped by University Mazda. I was really impressed with the professional manner of their salesmen and other employees. I found a car that I really liked but it had already been sold. It was too bad because they didn't have a lot else that I was interested in. I would go back again in an instant though. I was treated with respect.
PROS: great service
CONS: small selection

My fiance and I went here to buy a new car - he ended up getting a deal he was happy with so I guess that is a plus. They seemed pretty wiling to negiotiate on price, but with the usual hassle. The salesman was totally rude to me though, he told me I needed the number of their road assistance since women don't know how to change a tire. Also asked if I was a teacher, when I told him no, he asked if a was a receptionist, because that's what most are - either a teacher or receptionist
PROS: Willing to negiotate on price
CONS: Sexist salesman
