I bought a brand new house where Bamboo Hardwoods installed the bamboo floor. I contact them in September for some warranty work (exposed nails, glue, a few cracked boards). Even now in April, they still did not come back with a response, so I gave up. Very hard to communicate with via e-mail and took a lot to get a replies to my e-mails (I guess because of warranty questions..). I cc the owner who did not even bother to reply or check if the issue was resolved. I stopped by their Seattle locations a few times and the employees were not helpful at all. I like the bamboo floor but I would not recommend Bamboo hardwoods to anyone.

I bought a brand new house where Bamboo Hardwoods installed the bamboo floor. I contact them in September for some warranty work (exposed nails, glue, a few cracked boards). Even now in April, they still did not come back with a response, so I gave up. Very hard to communicate with via e-mail and took a lot to get a replies to my e-mails (I guess because of warranty questions..). Bamboo Hardwoods does sell a variety of bamboo products from China, but nothing unique. The employees are very unorganized and not helpful. I tried to pay them a few times and they seemed to always lose my payment, and no one knew who was responsible for what. I would not recommend Bamboo hardwoods to anyone. Shop with someone who will appreciate your business.

Products are great and the quality is good, but service and installation are abysmal. Our floors took 4 months to get installed, and the lack of knowledge from the salesperson and installers caused us to drive down to the warehouse or store (and transport hundreds of pounds of bamboo in our small Civic) no less than five times because we were given incorrect or insufficient quantities of parts. Very rare to have calls returned, and installers were habitually late (including once when we waited two weeks after being told, "we'll come back tomorrow"). After paying over $12,000 and living with unfinished floors for months, one would think they would at least adjust prices or give us some form of compensation. They wouldn't budge. Pros: Great products, good selection Cons: Slow to return calls, incompetant installers, 4 months to install

This store is terrific! I have shopped there multiple times; each time I go I expect to get one item (a rug, some poles, a ceramic pot), and end up leaving with multiple ideas for my home! The customer service is fantastic; the staff have proven to be knowledgable and sincere. The store's main attraction are the beautiful floors, which are on display on the back wall of the store. The rest of the shop contains items that complement the floors in one's home, as well as outdoor items such as fountains and fencing. There are even some bamboo clothes! The owners are committed to sustainable home and garden furnishings, and they provide some great ideas for any home. The company is based in Seattle, so I feel good supporting local business as well.

I went into Bamboo Hardwoods Roosevelt, looking to browse for some new flooring for my place. I found that this store was far more than flooring- rugs, screens, pots and fountains, fencing, furniture- the store really has a little bit of everything! Staff was helpful and not pushy- they let me browse and were friendly- not "in your face" like at other boutique shops. After a few visits, I wound up purchasing a floor that looks terrific! The entire process was simple and professionally managed; I am VERY pleased with both the product and the service. I also got some rugs to complement my new floors. I definitely recommend this place- the staff know their stuff and are committed to "green" home products! Pros: unique selection, friendly salesperson Cons: sometimes busy

We came here once just to look and ended up purchasing water fixture made of bamboo. They have a wonderful selection of bamboo-themed decor for your home and backyard and of course a wide variety of different types of bamboo hardwoods to choose from to add the perfect touch. As expected with bamboo hardwood floors, the prices are little steep but I think comparable to other places. If you are looking for items to give your home that final touch, they carry all sorts of items like planting pots, fencing, scented candles and art pieces with a very zen-like theme.

I have to restrain myself to not not go in Bamboo Hardwoods. First, I was going to buy a bamboo bed, then I wanted bamboo flooring, but ultimately ended up purchasing our dining room table from this wonderful store on Roosevelt Way NE. The store has excellent customer service, and I am considering them to supply my new flooring when I replace the carpet in my house sometime this year. The table is a solid product, beautiful to look at, and we've had no problems with this local neighborhood establishment.

Bamboo Hardwoods sells bamboo products and a little more. Selling products made from renewable resources is their specialty. I just bought a cool bamboo "deer scarer" from them and the price was only $40 bucks. Other nurseries sold it for $70!!! They also have a small collection of very cool planting pots for a very reasonable price. Its just a cool store to visit as well. Lots to look at in a very small space!

This store is fantastic. It have reasonable prices on a great selection of hardwoods. The store itself is small with a back wall display of the different hardwood colors and types (pergo type and actual hardwood). Prices are average for bamboo hardwood. What I found really great about this store is the ability to purchase actual bamboo poles for home projects. The store also has some small to large pottery for plants both with and without drainage holes. I purchased two 12" ceramic planters for $7 a piece. Quite a steal for glazed ceramic pots. The store also features some interesting bamboo fountains for home gardens.
