I enjoyed Ohana but the service is really slow, even when it wasnt even busy. The food I can say was delicious, I had the chicken Katsu, and Kalua Pig. Being from Hawaii I needed some local grinds to bring me back home for the weekend. They dont card people when they drink which is unsat because underaged people can get away with underaged drinking. I mean not too bad if you are under 21. I was charged 193 on my credit card that was 30 bucks more than what my reciept said. I signed the reciept that said I owned 161.13 and left a resonable tip. I dont understand how they could be 32 dollars off. If the service was better I would've left a 30 dollar tip. I wont be back or if you decide to go you should def. pay with cash so they dont screw you over. I was intially going to put 4 stars but then this credit card issue came up. They shouldn't screw with people's credit card charges!!!!
Pros: Fun place to go for happy hour
Cons: slow service, and over charge credit cards

Visited Ohana's on 3-1-09. My partner and I shared the "ohana's big three" plate. My partner and I were both asked if we wanted either sweet or unsweet ice tea. After ordering sweet tea the waiter came back about 2mins later with unsweet tea and stated that they were out of sweet tea, and when we asked for a tea spoon they gave us a soup spoon that was too short for the glasses so our fingers were in the tea to stir it. They have a seating charge of $10.95 if you want to share a plate....as it was explained to us, basically you pay that extra amount for a bowl of soup that had little pieces of red pepper in it and some fried onions in it (like eating ramen soup broth) and a salad (baby greens with a slice of tomato, cucumber, and ginger dressing). Needless to say we were not impressed by the food at all. The plate consisted of steak, chicken, and shrimp, with veggies (onions, zuchini, and mushrooms) and rice. Not to mention if you wanted chicken rice (i.e. fried rice) it was an extra $4. The chicken was over cooked, and the food over all really had no other flavor to it than what it was. To give you an idea, the shrimp, steak and chicken was cooked with salt, pepper, a splash of lemon for the shrimp, and everything recieved tariake/soy sauce. I've cooked beter meals at my own home! I really wouldn't suggest this place. I don't see what they think is so Hawian about it. Just because you put a few decorations and some music to the place does not make it Hawian. I was at least expecting maybe some pineapple in the dish or some presentation. The only sauce they had were two premade dippers (mustard, and ginger). If you want good food and good prices for hibatchi style cooked food, try Kobe japanese steak house! Ohana's even cooked the SAME style they did at Kobe, they made an onion volcano and set it a-flame. Not only did Ohana's put a hole in our pockets, but a bad feeling for the place to call it self Hawian!
Pros: nice color paint on the walls
Cons: food was NOT worth the price!

The customer service is horrific. The bouncer and owner need to read up on how to conduct a proper business and learn the importance of customer service.
Cons: Insecure owner and staff

This was one of the best restaurants we ate at on our honeymoon. Aside from a bad DJ one of the nights we ate there, the place was really cool. The atmosphere is very island/tiki and the sushi bar looks right at home. Try the Spam and the Moco Loco if you like eclectic cuisine, and Happy hour is definitely worth it for inexpensive food and drinks. We were well cared-for even on an extremely crowded Friday. We will go back the next time we're in town.
Pros: Authentic and eclectic cuisine and atmosphere
Cons: A bad DJ clashes with a great restaurant

First off, I'll give credit to the decor and the atmosphere INSIDE the restaurant. Waitress was okay.
BUT I was not fond of the second hand smoke drifting in from the "bouncer" smoking within feet of the front door. Reflects poorly on management when they don't train their employees, no matter the business. We live in Seattle, a SMOKE FREE zone. I feel strongly about guest service, and when I see something that needs to be worked on, it spoils the rest of the experience.
Pros: decor
Cons: belltown parking, enough said

We were greeted warmly by Alethia, one of the waitresses who, throughout the night , was friendly and made sure that we felt like a priority. We ended up having an issue with our bill and she handled it right away, she frequently came back to check on us and we felt like she was a part of our group. The steak cabobs were fabulous, juicy and tender and I recommend the Blue Hawaiian if you like sweet drinks. I do recommend going early if you go on a Monday night, happy hour is until 11pm but its hard to get in.
Pros: Atmosphere, Service
Cons: Street Parking

Always good service at Ohana. Very good sushi if you're not a sushi snob. Spider roll is especially good. Drinks are stiff and good.

I can't say enough about Ohana's. The sushi is great and the atmosphere even better. The happy hours offer good deals on Pilsner drafts and California Rolls. I love the "half-baked roll" and always order Kirin Ichiban on draft. I see that they're building an outdoor deck in the front too so I can't wait for summer to roll around to enjoy eating outside. Only downside is that parking is difficult in this area.
Pros: Great food, great service, great drinks
Cons: Very limited street parking
