Ravenna Gardens is a very restful store. With all of the waterfalls, unobtrusive salespeople, and plants this place can be a good urban escape if you don't have time to go to a park. Since it is a small store, they don't have as a good selection as some of the local nurseries, but if you want something different and are willing to pay a little more this is where you want to go. Inside, the store has candles, gardening clothes, watering pots, etc. Outside is a moderate sized selection of flowers and trees. They also have a number of bird baths to choose from for your yard.

When walking around upper Queen Anne you have to take a break from coffee drinking to stop by Ravenna Gardens. They don't have a huge selection but it is definitely a quaint neighborhood shop. They offer tons of beautiful houseplants and garden accessories. If you need a pair of garden shears or a birthday gift for your green thumbed friend its the perfect place to stop in.

Like most garden stores, Ravenna Gardens has a nice array of brightly colored annuals (especially for pots and hanging baskets), herbs and vegetables but what sets Ravenna Gardens apart is their wonderful perennial collection. Ravenna Gardens has an ever changing selection of plants for the gardener interested in adding unusual colors or leaf shapes to their perennial beds. Grasses, blue and red tones, spiky foliage, evergreen shrubs and speckled plants all come to mind. Inside are all kinds of garden/outdoor living items that make great gifts. Gardening equipment limited to a small selection of tools and house plant soils/barks.
