The staff is very knowledgeable about their product and will spend the time educating you so you can select the special diamond. Although the Seattle location is quite small, the store is packed with a wide selection of gorgeous rings to chose from. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and are quick to offer soda, water, even a glass of wine to make your experience more comfortable. If you are not ready to make a purchase they will fill out a detailed reference card including pictures of the ring(s) you selected and/or designed. The card is available anytime you chose to return. I found the quality to be excellent, but the prices seem slightly higher than most competitors.

Although the giant boulder-on-a-rock on the sign outside proclaims the E.E. Robbins is the engagement ring store, don't let that fool you - they'll gladly sell you a matching wedding ring if you want. Not only do they have a large variety of rings on hand, but they'll happily custom make you one as well, and unlike the pretentious chains like Tiffany's, they'll do it in 2 months instead of 6.
As it happened, I got my engagement ring from Artas Usuwil, but that was only because they could come up with a design I liked sooner than E.E. Robins did.
