We visited Chiso for the first time a few weeks ago just as a change of pace from our regular sushi restaurants. We weren't disappointed! We took at seat at the bar and the sushi chef immediately greeted us with a smile and welcomed us. The sushi and sashimi were all delicious, and the prices weren't bad for a sushi restaurant. Would definitely recommend!
Pros: Friendly Sushi Chef, Delicious food
Cons: Store entrance hard to spot, street parking

Even though we live on the eastside, we visit Six Seven every Mother's Day for the most awesome brunch around. (The bacon alone is worth the drive but the made-to-order-while-you-wait omelets are great, too.) We also bring out of town guests there for dinner because it's hard to beat the charm of fine dining on the waterfront, even when the weather isn't the best. (In summer, the outside deck is open for seating). There really isn't a bad seat in the house. Wait staff NEVER rushes you and you feel free to relax and enjoy the experience.
Pros: Beautiful waterfront view, creative dishes with NW flair
Cons: Parking can be an issue

My husband and I love this place! And we are very picky... ;-) We have one more all time favorite place so far, which is La Rustica in West Seattle, but that's about it. The customer service these days is really bad...and it can totally ruin even the best food.
This place is great in all aspects. We always get a great service. Waiters/waitresses are polite and very welcoming!
We recommend this place to all our friends!
Pros: Food, Service, Location, Decor
Cons: None; we just wish it would open earlier... ;)

I used to goto Yamashiro every week, but it has changed to Warabi. The food is a little different but still really good. I love the rolls and nigiri especially. I dont know if its a new owner or just a new menu, either way i will returning weekly as before.
Pros: fresh fish
Cons: location

I am puzzled by the bad reviews as this place has been better all the way around than any other places I've gone (Umi, Wasabi Bistro, I Love Sushi). I've never had slow service and one thing I LOVE about this place is that they ALWAYS have items that other places only get occasionally or run out of (certain types of tuna like Toro, etc). The quality is top notch! It is inexpensive compared with over-rated places like Umi (talk about BAD service), and the rolls are done RIGHT...rolled like they do in Japan...narrow and long so they are bite size and don't fall apart. I'm guessing some of the reviewers on here either work at other competing sushi places or they have never experienced REAL sushi like you get in Japan. I have many years of experience dining on sushi and this place is my favorite! BTW...if you just want to enjoy some DJ music, have a drink and maybe a roll or two, the bar is fun on weekends.
Pros: Rolls are rolled long and bite size so don't fall apart
Cons: Sometimes crowded

Every piece of sushi is made fresh with excellent quality sashimi. I have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered, and it's so cheap!!! Tuna rolls are $4!!
Pros: Delicious, fresh sushi!! Some of the best in the city!
Cons: Not the best teriyaki

I travel a lot with my job and am always trying sushi in various places. I tried Red Fin after reading a few reviews here and It was the right decision. I started with the shitake mushroom dumplings which were wonderful; the sauce was awesome. I tried the chef's choice sushi tray and was impressed by the variety that was provided. Usually if you do this, you just get some tuna and mackeral and maybe a shrimp. This tray had a dozen different types of seafood, and it all just melted in your mouth. It was outstanding. I also had my usual order of uni which was also incredibly fresh. I will definitely go back. Oh, and the sake it great as well. Try the Red Fin sampler.
Pros: Amazingly fresh sushi; great appetizers; good service
Cons: It is expensive, be prepared

I went here for happy hour and had the best greyhound of my life. Some friends had a couple of different absinthes, which were ok, but I really am not a huge fan anyway. Cool spot, filled with some cool indie kids. That part of it wasn't really my scene, but everyone was really mellow and loving the cocktails...
Pros: Greyhound that will make you want to make love
Cons: Kinda Hipster-y

This place is not fancy, but the sushi is better and higher quality than anywhere else in Seattle. The location is nice especially the outside seatting on a sunny summer day. We have probably been here 20 times and keep coming back!
