The College Inn is considered a "European-Style Hotel" Built for the 1909 Alaska-Yukon Exposition, the College Inn stands amidst Seattle's University District. It is right across the street from the University of Washington. Nearby is "The Ave" - a street lined with many cheap international cuisine restaurants and shops. The buslines to downtown and the rest of Seattle are also within a stone's throw. It is approximately a 10 minute bus ride to the center of downtown. The inn has 27 guest rooms, each with sink and mirror. Bathrooms/showers are communal. On the 4th floor is a guest lounge where breakfast is served every morning. Directly downstairs from the inn, there is the Cafe Allegro, a quaint coffee shop. In the basement, the College Inn Pub thrives with a crowd of college kids and young professionals. Don't worry, because the pub is housed in the basement, the sounds will not travel up to the guest rooms.
