While the doctor at Airport Vet isn't the most sociable man, he is extremely knowledgable and caring in his treatment of all animals. We have seen him for several years and each time he has remedied the existing problems, or prevented problems to come. The lady that works the front desk is also quite friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The atmosphere is pet friendly, and each person here really cares a great deal about your pet. The prices are the MOST reasonable around, and you won't leave feeling like you have been robbed! I highly recommend Airport Vet for all your pet care needs!

I brought my cat in last week for a small wound. I had been to ACCES before (the service has always been great, the staff is friendly) and usually waited in the lobby to be put in the room. However this time I was pleasantly surprised when as soon as I walked up to the counter they called for a triage tech. One of the staff came up right away and we went into a close room. I knew my cat was stable, but they still checked his vitals and I was happy to see a face right away. My visit was a little long (i think because they had a lot going on in the back area) but the lobby is comfortable, there is a children's area and DVD player, as well as vending machines. I was put into a room and the tech took my kitty away to clean the wound, and he was back very quickly. The discharge was fast, I was given a collar for him to wear and some amoxicillin for the wound. I would recommend them for sure, they are a very special group of people. For tips, I would say to remember that this is an emergency center, so sometimes you have to wait while the more critical animals are seen and that the prices are going to be a bit higher because they are there at night and available 24/7. Another tip would be to bring a book or something to do in case you have to wait a bit.

More 2 years ago
After our dying 1 year old grand champion Abyssinian was sent away by an inexperienced vet at Cat's Exclusive who took a "let's wait and see" approach (thanks a lot, "Doctor" Fliegel of CE) 7 hours later, it was clear to us that he was dying, so we called our vet who makes house calls, Dr. Alexa Allen (please see my very positive review of her) and she accompanied us to ACCES. Luckily for us, it was a slow night for them, and although we were not allowed into the treatment room, Dr. Allen was. She gave us a very animated description of what was going on behind the scenes while we waited and worried. Never less than 5, usually 7 people were all working on Qaalee at once, doing everything they possibly could to save him. After about an hour, Dr. Julie March brought us into a room and went over Qaalee's condition after they had stabilized him. Dr, March was so smart, so compassionate and so caring, we were just blown away. She told us to go home (after a brief visit with Qaalee) and try to sleep and that she would call us with an update at 6am, when her shift ended. At 6am on the nose, she called to give us an update and to say that she had been spending the last hour updating Dr. Miles on Qaalee's condition, and that our cat was in the best hands he could possibly be in. At about 2 pm, Dr. Miles called to give us the very sad news: Qaalee was "clinically dead"...that he has already lost one kidney the other was shutting down and the brain was gone. They has him alive on a respirator and he was in a coma, but said that we should get down there right away to say goodbye. It was really sad that when Qaalee heard our voices, he awoke from his coma and started crying to be taken home. When we called for help, Dr. Miles was in the room immediately and put Qaalee out of his suffering.
Yes, it was a horrific thing to go through. Yes, we wish the idiot at Cat's Exclusive hadn't sent Qaalee away without doing any diagnostic testing. But the entire staff at ACCES was just amazing. We got a beautiful sympathy card from them and they kept us updated as to how the necropsy was coming along (it took nearly a month to get all the testing done) and then, finally we got his ashes.
Do we hope that we will never need to go to ACCES again? Yes. Are we glad that such a fine animal hospital is near our house that has excellent vets with fantastic bedside manners? Yes.
I would also like to say that the head of the clinic spent nearly an hour going over the autopsy notes with me on the phone because I couldn't understand much of it. That was very kind of her. Thank you Dr. Davidoff.

My dog Lady (cocker spaniel) has been a patient there for about 1 1/2 years. We go frequently because Lady has glaucoma and has needed two surgeries. I love Dr. Sullivan who has been Lady's surgeon. He went to a great vet school, is patient with all of my many questions and Lady LOVES him! She has received excellent care there. They also are reasonably priced for what they do. I found the staff to be very kind, professional and courteous.

Although it was difficult to have my cat of 13 years put to sleep, the doctor and her support staff were very comforting, from the phone call to make the appointment, through the whole process itself, until I left the office. Very kind and professional.
