You should also consider checking out Mr. Handyman, the franchise, as they can usually do all of these things as well and they are a licensed and bonded business. This is something serious to consider if a person will be working on your house and it's possible they could hurt themselves - such as being on a ladder.

I highly recommend contacting this company, Mr. Handyman: http://www.mrhandymanwa.com/ It's a franchise type of business and I first was introduced them via my membership with the Rental Housing Association. The business owners of the local franchises are also members of RHA. You can call them with your problem and they can help you with getting an employee with the experience you need. I haven't had to use them myself but I know that if the members of the RHA had any ongoing issues they would be removed from associate membership.

I have not had a bathtub replaced, but I have had very good luck with Mr. Handyman. www.mrhandyman.com I was having a mailbox replaced (new concrete pad, post, the works) and was able to get something scheduled the next day. The guy who did the work was fast and tidy. I plan to call them again for similar small jobs.

Mr. Handyman is the perfect one-stop-shop for all of your small projects/issues at your residence. They're very competent, fairly priced, and sole mission is to service all of the small projects that larger and more specialized firms prefer not to work on. Owner Glenn Berkwitt has built a trust-based business which is not always the case in this field. Definitely worth a call.
