If you have a ton of money to blow and a penchant for culinary delectation, you might find something new and interesting at this high-end kitchen ware store in the heart of tourist-trap central. Here you may find the sort of cooking utensils that many local cooks wish they had in their restaurants, but which usually only end up in the homes of wealthy people. It's not only pricey items that make it into this store, but many of the items here seem to appeal to those who have spent far more money than is typical, learning about food.

If it's a kitchen gadget or something decorative you need - come to Sur la Table. If they don't have it here - it doesn't exsist. Plain and simple. I actually prefer the Pike location because it feels cozy to me and I have more fun wandering through the aisles. (I do avoid it like the plague in the tourist season, however!)

Cooking with gadgets should be the name of this store. It has every possible thing you'd need in the kitchen and then some things you don't really need, but would look good in your kitchen, hanging off your apron, or piled up in your sink. I leave the cooking to the man of the house but I shop here if I want to get him something special.

I just love Sur La Table. I prefer not to shop at the Pike Place location as it's much smaller and more cramped than the Kirkland store. The Kirkland store also had a full kitchen where they hold cooking workshops, which I am interested in taking in the future.
This is a cook's paradise!

This store is an amazing place to stock up your kitchen supplies. For the tiny space, they have a ton of stuff to browse if you can manage to get through the crowds who are wandering the market. You can find some great serving dishes and colorful napkins in the south end of the store, lots of La Creuset pots and pans, and in the other end they have all the serious tools you need like Microplaners, silicon mats, baking supplies and more.

Sur la Table is a fun place to wander around in, as long as you don't mind the tight, well-packed aisles. They manage to fit a ton of stuff into this little store, so much so that it may be hard to spot what you're looking for. Luckily, the staff is friendly and helpful and can almost always find whatever kitchen gadget you're looking for. This store carries some nice high end stuff, but of course you'll pay dearly for it.

If you are really serious about cooking as a hobby, I would suggest this culinary store to you. The prices are very high, but they sell high quality, difficult to find and specialty cookware. The staff is also very knowledgable about the products in the store as well as cooking in general. They have the best selection of bakewear I have seen in the city.

La Table is many things but purveyor of inexpensive cookware is not something they excel at-their prices are astronomically high. They do have a great selection though. All the usual high end brands are represented such as Le and. They also have a good selection of specialty foods and linens. The employees are usually very helpful and don't mind all the browsers wandering the store. If you can't make it to the store they also have a very organized website.
