We bought blinds for our whole house from Wessco about 4 years ago. We were very happy with the service, they worked very hard to stay within our budget and not try to talk us into something we could not afford. The installation was great they did a professional job. We had to have a couple of the blinds restrung and we never had any problems the blinds were always back within a week or so. I would recommend them, Kamm is great to work with and Leigh has been in the business for a long time and is very knowledgeable.

Customer service is a joke. They take forever to get back to you, and unless they are going for the sale, they aren't really interested in what you have to ask or say. Unfortunately I cannot recommend Wessco. I took a blind in for repair, and I was told it would take a couple of weeks and cost $55. Two weeks later, I was told it will be three more weeks. Something about it having to be 'rebuilt', the meaning of which I would not fully appreciate until I'd paid and taken the blind home. The top 'header' portion now has different dimensions than the other blinds in my apartment, which is a problem because the blind mounts flush with another one; the two no longer join in a clean line. The old tensioner was replaced with a new one that operated differently and required mounting to a windowsill (whereas the old one did not require mounting). Further, the new pull string was on the wrong side, tangling with the cord of its neighboring blind, and nowhere near a windowsill for mounting even if I were so inclined. Fortunately, while Wessco had this blind for five weeks, I took another one in to Blind Alley in Bellevue. Same service cost me about $35, and took two days. I got the original tensioner back, the blind fixed, as good as new. I'll be visiting Blind Alley again to see what they can do with the blind that Wesso 'fixed'. ****** Update (the next day) ****** Blind Alley had an old tensioner that matched my others; they moved the pull mechanism to the right side and replaced the new tensioner, while I waited, and wouldn't let me pay despite my insistence. Unfortunately the blind still does not match the others in my apartment (the header has different dimensions). Pros: None. Cons: No in-house service means 2 to 5 weeks wait time. No calls to explain how repairs might change the way your blind works (and looks!).

I gladly am using Wessco for window coverings in a third different house. Owner Leigh Nelson is a pleasure to deal with, and she likely has not encountered a situation that your home offers She also will not pressure customers into products, often warning about pricing. The women in the showroom, Camm and Rosanna and the rest, also are very knowledgeable and pleasant. The coverings in the house I just sold were a huge selling point; they truly added to the ambience of the home. If I ever have to move again, I know the windows are covered (so to speak) with Wessco. I know this sounds like an ad, but my enthusiasm for this company has moved me to post a review for the first time.

We did the right thing and got competing quotes for our plantation shutters. Not only was Wessco cheaper, but they were closer to home too. We also appreciated the owners' hands-on approach, and excellent design advice during the in-home consultation. Everyone loves our shutters, and we think they add incredible value to the home. Wessco is a neighborhood company that can compete head-to-head with any faceless chain store. And outdo them in every possible way. We found out about them when we received their postcard in the mail after moving into our new home: "Tired of dressing in front of the neighbors?" Pros: Location, hands-on service, attentiveness Cons: Lead-times on product delivery can be slow depending on demand.

Wessco Blinds delivered on time and with the perfect blinds for my windows! Their excellent customer service, from the initial order to the final delivery was very impressive. I especially enjoyed the designer touch the in home specialist offered which resulted in a perfect match for my window treatments. I highly reccommend this company as they were courteous, polite, ON TIME, and most of all, they deliver an outstanding product. I have grown leary of "in home" services, from inviting strangers into my home to being bullied into purchasing items I did not want or need. Wessco did not use any of these tactics and the specialist was very knowledgeable of their inventory and listened to my particular needs. Great company!! Call them!! I'll be BACK!!!

After hearing from friends what a wonderful job the company had done in their home I recommended my Grandmother use them as well. My grandmother recently purchased a new home. She was overwhelmed with all the choices she was making and was not looking forward to one more choice. When the owner of the store showed she had a few ideas but wanted to get my Grandmother what she would be happy with. The owner walked her through the choices and helped Grandma relax about the anxiety of one more choice. When Grandma was done she had a beautiful product that makes her happy. My mother has now decided to use Wessco for her windows and has been happy with her service thus far. PROS: they will visit your house CONS:
