Good: Price was estimated over the phone to within $20 of actual cost. Bad: Same day service wasn't available but understood why. not really a issue. Improvements: No problems with the service or technicians, nothing to note about needing to improve. Other: They answered my questions without hesitation and were on time and clean. no damage or worse problems. - Great Service I'll consider using again. WSI.

They answered the phone, showed up on time, repaired the pipe under my toilet, and charged me a little less than they quoted on the phone. The mechanic Jack was obviously skilled. I would use them again for sure.

Doug and his team at Northend Home Heating are a godsend. I called him in a panic earlier this week because our furnace went out and it has been sub freezing all week. He was at my house that afternoon with a very reasonable quote on my furnace and was there with his crew the next morning. 5 hours later I had a new furnace and the house was toasty. Thank you Doug!!

I've been with Olson Energy for 5+yrs. When I bought my home, I called around. Their prices were middle of the road. They came out & explained their service, my contract at length, how my furnace works and what I needed to do to keep it going. I have a 51yr old furnace and I have told them I will eventually replace it and they have keep it going till I could replace it.
To address other comments: (1)When I had a concern with a service the owner addressed it and it's never happened again. (2)When I had problems with my furnace, they didn't charge me a DIME if it was in the service contract (3)The person on call returned urgent phone calls within 30min at 5am and (4) when my furnace DIED in February they came out and worked on it for 4 hours till 8pm so I could have heat that night.

I have getting heating oil from Genesee for several years now and the service has been great from day one. When I bought my house I had no clue about oil. My house had been previously serviced by Rossoe, but when I called them I was treated as if I was an interruption in their day, then I was shuffled off to sales person who seemed to put the hard sell on me without listening to what I needed..which was simply an explanation of how heating oil works. My next call was to Seelig but they seemed like a fly-by-night operation...answering machine on the first call, when they called back all they could do is constantly slam other companies (always a red flag in my book). So I finally called Genesee on a referral from my neighbor who had been with them for 30 some years. They were great. A very nice person in the office explained how oil works, got my account set up, and gave me a free tune up. All I can say is that every interaction with them is a great experience...rare to find these days. When I call them they are friendly and not pushy. The service technicians have been knowledgeable and clean. I now get biodiesel from Genesee which they are a leader in. I really like the fact that they care enough about the environment to offer biodiesel. I know that most companies can get things right sometimes, but Genesee seems to get it right all the time.

When my Munchkin boiler (which heats my entire house and potable water) malfunctioned over the Christmas holidays, I called Reed Wright and found Tim to be very knowledgeable - and helpful. He could have easily charged me for an on-site service call, but instead talked me through fixing the problem on my own without hesitation. I would have gladly paid for the service call in any event, because their minimum onsite call charge was half of two other shops I had called (and the others didn't even try to analyze my problem over the phone!)

Okay - so I am sitting on my couch dozing off and thinking, its time to go to bed when there's a loud hissing noise downstairs-oh no- - its the water heater! And faster than you can say, Noah - where's the ark, my basement is flooded with several inches of water. Stayed up late to clean up the mess - who did I call the next day - Brennan heating and air conditioning- one of Puget Sound Energy's recommended contractors. Got several quotes over the phone between 8 AM and noon -Installers out by 3 PM, water heater installed by 4 PM. Hot water by 5 PM. Now that's what I call service! I wasn't without hot water for even 24 hours - Plus I could not be around to pay the bill and they were cool with sending me a bill in the mail after the tank was installed.

My furnace conked out on a Friday in December and I was very pleased to find Olympic Heating. Randall was able to drop in a new furnace on Tuesday. He provided a quote for the work up front, scheduled the work right away after I approved the work, and was able to do the work right away. It was a simple job to take the old furnace out and plug the new one in and they didn't do any more work than was necessary and didn't charge any more than the work that was done.
