Tai Lahans specializes in treating people with cancer - I am forever grateful for her care and recommend her highly and completely to anyone. I first met Tai over a year ago, when I had recently reluctantly begun chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. Her acupuncture and herb formulas addressed many of the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, including low appetite, digestive problems, low energy, lymphedema, etc. Now in remission, I continue to see her regularly with the goal of preventing recurrence. She has been a steady guide, helping me navigate through this complex illness (and effects of treatment) with genuine caring, deep wisdom and a healthy dose of humor. She attends to the whole person and through our meetings I better understand the relationships between nutrition, rest, exercise, emotions and minimizing stress in healing. She has helped me see that life is a gift. Thank you.

Dr. Buccholz has cared for our two small children and we highly recommend him as a pediatrician. He is accessible, approachable, a great listener, matter-of-fact in his response to the latest "issues" in pediatric care and most importantly, extremely connected to children. When one of our children got sick during a cross-country vacation, Dr. Buccholz was available after-hours, on the phone for advice and to cross-check the out-of-state care we received. His offices are clean and well organized. A great doctor and a great practice.

I have been going to this medical clinic for a little over a year now and I have no complaints. I have the greatest doctor (Jessica Wesch) and the nurses all have a great sense of humor. The guy who draws blood in the lab understands fear and he treats people like they are human. Whenever I go there I really feel like a patient instead of just another number. I would suggest this place for people with children and elderly people.

Dr. Gretchen Weitkamp at the Swedish Providence Clinic is a rare breed in today's medical community - a great family doctor who loves providing basic preventative care. She listens patiently to questions and reviews options without hurrying a decision. She is also very available by phone for advice. Good doctors are hard to find - and she is one.

I am so lucky to find this "state of the art" wonderful and kind doctor. I was bleeding to death and totally doctor phobic due to all other doctors trying to railroad/terrorize me into a hysterectomy. After sonogram, Dr. Jones got me on Natural Progesterone, which helped peri-menopause problems like hot-flashes, and reduced flooding, but I decided I wanted a Novasure due to continued bleeding and our suspicion of polyps. The in-office d&c and ablation was nearly painless, then a few weeks of occasional icky uterine cramping soreness, but now my periods are light to medium, not gushing. I truly feel like I dodged a bullet and Dr. Jones saved me. I could not find this medical help anywhere else, I know because I looked for over a year.

This is one of my covetted recommendations in Seattle. In general, I'm not sure you can give dental hygenists good reviews because of the nature of the work that they do -- but I just got back from a rough day at the dentist. And I have to say that this woman is the best dental hygenist on the west side -- hands down. She knows how to clean teeth better than any other hygenist I've met in my life. (period). The only challenge will be getting to see her -- she doesn't accept many new patients. If you get in -- you'll learn what I'm talking about.
