Good: Dr. Ty and the whole staff are really committed to making sure the whole experience is a good one. I've never run into any of the issues the negative review mentioned. I'm deeply afraid of going to the dentist and they've been wonderful and helped me with sedation (where appropriate) and are very clear with me about what to expect, how much it will cost, etc. I'm very pleased with this office and will continue to go here in the future..

I've been in glasses since age eight and have been going to Eyes On Fremont for the last ten years. I decided long ago that if I have to wear glasses, I want to WEAR glasses, so I am always on the lookout for the striking and unusual frame, (and by that I don't mean crazy or flashy, although they have a few of those two). I'm also of the old school that not only appreciates excellent customer service but expects it and I will not spend my money where it does not exist. These two requirements have made EOF my go-to for frames and lenses. I have never failed to encounter caring, friendly staff and, by this time, know them all. They also know my tastes and that makes our collabarations a joy. To illustrate the level of service. My last pair of new frames, (about 18 months ago), were purchased after a staff member noticed a new pair that came into the shop, immediately knew they would be great for me and called to let me know I must come in and see them. She was so right ! I feel great wearing them and I can honestly say that not a week has gone by since that I do not receive at least one favorable comment on my glasses. What more could I ask......I'm happy, EOF is happy and apparently we're making at least one person a week happy too........lol. For those of us who wear glasses, Eyes On Fremont is an opportunity and a gift, don't miss out!

I found Studio Evolve by accident (after reading poor reviews for another studio that I was considering) and have been extremely pleased. I see Joanna and Sophia weekly for mat and reformer classes. While completely different instruction, both instructors are knowledgeable about the body and Pilates techniques, passionate about what they do, and a joy to spend time with. Most importantly, I feel better than I have for years. I look forward to working with instructors at Studio Evolve as I fight sliding into into old age!
Pros: Pilates, mat and reformer, that will change your life

I have had many massages at different spas and it's usually a bit of a crapshoot - you never know what to expect. Since about a year ago, now me and my honey just go to Dreamclinic. Convenient hours and they have great depth when it comes to staff. They must have a great hiring process because I have never had a bad massage. Keep it up Dreamclinic!

We first met Dr Smutka 23 years ago when my then-3 year old son had a dental emergency. I have never before or since met a provider so professional, so compassionate, and so caring with children. I've referred many friends/family to him.
I believe he may have saved my son's life. Our family dentist wanted to use general anesthesia at Northgate (not Northwest - Northgate) Hospital on my toddler to extract a broken molar. Instead of the trauma and potential risk, Dr Smutka easily extracted the tooth at his office using only novacaine and a little nitrous oxide. All 3 of my children went to him until they were 'graduated'; Dr Smutka said the long hair & grunge clothes of my teens were making his other patients - all small children - uncomfortable. I strongly recommend him and am preparing to send my grandchildren to him

I love this practice! Dr. McMahon is a straight-shooter who takes time with us and answers all our questions without making us feel silly (yet letting us know when we are over-the-top on our concerns!). The office is clean, well-run and I always get to see Dr. McMahon at the appointed time--what a gift!

My wife and I have gone through about 5 different vet offices from West Seattle to Ballard over the past 15 yrs. Ended up at QA Animal Clinic and have been with them for the past 5 yrs. Plan to stay with them too! Sure we've gone to places that charges less. And places that charged more. In fact with one place that charged less, what started as a routine checkup ended up with us having to put our cat down. We should've known. They were cheaper. They were faster. But faster ended up costing the life of our cat. Just as I'd never take my car into a Jiffy Lube. My pets are too important to me. Never again!
At QA Animal Clinic, as many of the reviews have noted, they are super friendly people and we definitely get the warm and fussy from them. Their waiting area is small but they get us into a room fairly quickly so I have not had to wait with more than 1 other pet owner at a time. No, they are not the cheapest but you know what, they are not pushy like other vets either. e.g. for my older cats, other vets kept warning me about how the kidney disease will shorten the life of my cat and so we need to do all these procedures on a monthly basis and we need to feed them this prescription diet... etc. (we've had older cats died from this before so we know) Sure QA offered the same stuff but they also offered alternatives. We only visit on an annual basis. My cat's kidney was stable. And we made our own kidney food for many years (way cheaper and all organic unlike these chemical foods). When it did come time for our old buddy at the ripe old age of 17 to pass, the whole place was there for us. Our vet (Dr. Westerdahl) let us say goodbye for as long as we need. We had friends come down to say their goodbyes too. The dr told the office staff to go but they all stayed, an hour after closing. They all loved our cat too. When we were done, we signed the cremation papers and they sent us home. Telling us not to worry about the bill til next week. They have been the best and we'll continue to bring them our cats.

I started going to Long Chiropractic about two years ago, not because I had any particular problem, but because someone gave me a gift certificate for a free exam. I had never been to a chiropracter before, and I was curious. From my very first visit, I felt warmly welcomed; I liked being there; it was a "family" kind of feeling; it was like they really cared about me and what I needed from them. By about my third visit, all three doctors and the receptionist were greeting me by name. Dr Becky is my doctor and she has become a friend. I come to her with my various minor "ailments" and she tries to take care of them. Sometimes she suceeds; sometimes she doesn't, but always when I leave, I feel that healing has taken place. In recent months, I've also gotten to know Dr Lara, and she's just like her sister, Becky! I'm nobody special, but when I'm with them, they make me feel like I'm the most important person in the world. It's a nice feeling. This place is like Magic for me. Now, two years after my first visit, I don't even care whether I need a chiropracter anymore, I still come in regularly; I love it; it's just a really nice place to be. Thanks, guys.
Pros: The warmth and friendliness of the receptionist and the entire staff of doctors
Cons: None.

I give Doctor Jones with Northwest Veterinary Hospital 5 stars! At first I wasn't sure about him because he is very analytical and wasn't "touchy feely" with my cat in the beginning, but after explaining possible diagnosis for my cat, he then gave gave him a very thorough physical. I am very happy he saw my cat because you can tell he has had 40 years of experience with animals in his level of personal accountability. I went in thinking my cat had a "hairball" and was SURE that I knew my cats diagnosis before the vet did, so I was being a little difficult and was unhappy at first that Dr. Jones wasn't agreeing with me. Dr. Jones in a very professional way set me straight, and set me on a good plan to check every avenue in a holistic approach towards figuring out what my cats issues are. I was very impressed by his diagnosis. It turned out my cat had "LUNG WORMS" and apparently that is a very rare condition in cats and usually isn't diagnosed correctly the first time. Dr. Jones (along with Dr. Donovan) took a very careful analysis of his blood and with other conditions, determined this. I was very impressed!! Also, they recommended later on when I could afford it to get a chest x-ray because my cat might also have asthma. But what I loved is there is no pressure to do more with them, they take your finances into account and carefully weight the urgency of the matter. They do not push for yearly inoculations but pay attention to when they are truly needed for your cat based on age, the last time they were inoculated. I was so impressed. I very much recommend Dr. Jones for anyone that wants superior vet care!
Pros: Extremely experienced
Cons: none
