Dr. Lee has always been patient and thorough in my visits with him. When I moved to a catastrophic insurance plan he was very understanding and spent time helping me decide which tests and procedures were worth the out of pocket cash. I am very happy with Dr. Lee professionally, personally, and practically. more

Dr. Lee has been my internist for over five years now. I find him to be very capable, professional, and sympathetic towards his patients. I have since moved to another state; however, I continue to return to retain Dr. Lee as my primary care physician. Finding good doctors and being able to connect them can be tuff, and my health is important to me; so it is worth the commute to Seattle from Portland to see Dr. Lee for the normal annual check-up and the like. And he is also easily reached via the telephone. Also...his assistant/nurse Beverly is very competent and equally fantastic! more

when i first moved to seattle (10 years ago) i tried the polyclinic and didn't really like it. it felt cold, impersonal, etc. then a few years ago i needed to get a new internist so i asked my pediatrician (who i trust with any and all things medical) and he highly recommended dr. elton lee (m.d. and m.p.h. from stanford) at the polyclinic. i've been quite happy with him, and here's a perfect example of why: i hurt my back. badly. no idea how. i called this morning, they got me in to see him at 2:00 today. i waited in the check-in line for maybe 3 minutes, then went over to dr. lee's area. i sat down in the waiting area, and literally 5 seconds later was called in. the nurse got my stats and then the doc was in the room within 2 minutes. after the exam he had me walk over to x-ray, where i again sat for seconds before getting called in. after the x-rays were completed i walked back to dr. lee's area and the results were already there waiting for me. he went over them with me, gave me my stretching orders and scrip, and had me on my way. i was in the building for 50 minutes. total. incredible. more

Dr. Lee is very knowledgeable and practical. He is empathetic yet straightforward and once you are an established patient, he can get you in to see him on very short notice. He is very good at providing referrals, and knows the other "good" doctors in town. I highly recommend. more
