This store is filled with beautiful, expensive things for the home. Great place to find unique gifts. Too bad the staff is so pretentious and rude. I have been here a number of times and their attitude is always the same (I am referring to the management, not the shop girls). I will not return.

Casita boasts a vibrant selection of Mexican imports that is a treat for the eyes. If you’re looking for items for your Day of the Dead or Our Lady of Guadeloupe shrines, as well as hand-painted, wooden alberijes (animals to drive away nightmares), or simply need a rejuvenation of spirit from the bustle of the streets, this little imports shop is worth visiting.

Cavvy's Market Place, which I sincerely hope is named for a person and not a mispelled dedication to the proper name for guinea pig, has always been a mystery. I have lived in West Seattle my entire life, and to my best recollection, Cavvy's has always been there, with the same selection of those 1980's plastic mugs and dried flowers behind a single pane of glass. The store has never been, to my knowledge, ever open. The window display never changes. And yet, it never goes out of business . . . somebody still pays the rent. What is up with Cavvy's? Will we ever know?
