I have always wanted to find a shop that sells mostly globes. This is it!! I have never seen so many globes to choose from in my life. It took me about an hour to decide on one for my husband. The staff was very helpful and the globes are breathtakingly beautiful.

This is a great Mail Center! They do almost everything. The services they provide for shipping are UPS, FEDEX and US MAIL! I always go there, because I hate waiting in line at the post office! It's convenient for me because I live in Richmond Beach. I came across it one day going to the new Gateway Plaza in Shoreline. I was also at a local paper center wanting to get my wedding invitations printed as well as my business cards and they directed me to go to AIM MAIL CENTER. They do that! I was so amazed! I've received excellent customer service and the print job was a fast turn around time and great quality. I highly recommend this place for all!!
Pros: UPS, FEDEX, USMAIL, FAST, CONVIENT, FRIENDLY, QUALITY WORK AND SERVICE
Cons: none.

They have a beautiful and unique collection in this store. I highly recommend you to go in person and talk to the owner of the store, Alexandria. She knows every piece in the store and more importantly she is a people reader. She was able to find the perfect ring for me just by asking me a couple of questions.
My fiance and I visited multiple stores prior Alexandria Ruddolfs and the decision was never this easy. Their service and help made it a unique and memorable experience for us.
Pros: They have great knowledge of their collection and all of the pieces are unique

You could drive by this place a thousand times and never know it was there. The prices are good and the people are nice. I went in here today after going to lunch at a near by restaraunt. The people were so nice, and helped me find exactly what I was looking for.

This tiny 20-seat weekend supper club is on a quiet residential street in Wallingford in July. It is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for Supper Club, offering a single, communal seating and a themed four-course, prix-fixe menu that changes weekly. The chef chef/owner is Dustin Ronspies, builds a menu that features raw ingredients from local growers. He introduces each course and shares his breadth of culinary knowledge from travels wide and far.
On Happy Mondays, things are more footloose; they don't take reservations and the menu features a variety of small plates at prices that average less than $10. The menu changes each week, and is accompanied with a moderately priced list of wines and beers to go with it. I've been there twice now, once for the prixe fix dinner and once dropping in on a lark on a Monday. You can't go wrong here -- a welcome change and an opportunity to meet and dine with some very interesting patrons.

I have been shopping at Andaluz since they opened, and have always had okay experiences. I stopped in today with a friend looking for wedding gifts. We shopped around for about a half an hour, everyone working was very nice to us. When we got in line with our purchases, the woman behind the counter who I know to be the owner, was happily chatting it up the customer in front of us. A black family came in and was looking around, commenting on how cute everything was. The owner immediately became distracted, coldly staring them down. My friend handed her the items she wanted to buy, as the owner was ringing up my friend, she snapped at one of the men with the family and told him, " Man you're making me real uncomfortable with your hand in your pocket and that coat your wearing." The man seemed extremely embarrassed, she responded to this by shrugging her shoulders and justifying her comment by saying "this is my livelihood." She then carelessly threw my friends purchase in a bag and shoved it at her without a word. One of the women then told the owner she was looking for something to bring back to San Francisco with her and asked the owner how much a purse was. The owner grabbed the purse from her and hid it behind the counter and said, "Oh this is so expensive, I have $1 items over there. "
I was horrified. This was the worst shopping experience of my life.
I will NEVER shop here again, I am also telling everyone I know to never shop here again. Don't support a place like this!
Pros: location
Cons: everything

Shiga's, a fixture on the Ave, carries a wide variety of Asian (mostly Chinese and Japanese) things, from kitchenware to mats to stationery.
I think they also specialize in futons, although I'm not really familiar with their selection in that section.
It's not really as great a place as it could be, but there are various little interesting things to be found if you look around. They have some teas like Himalayan blackberry, for one thing.

We are shocked to see the details in the review of June 12, 2008 - we have historically prided ourselves in our firendly service and desire to please our customers. As the owner of Antiques at Pike Place, I write this response after many hours of internal review and staff communication regarding customer service and it's importance. It is absolutely our goal to cater to repeat customers - this is a big part of our business, and we have repeat customers locally and around the U.S. and the world who fly in to shop at our store each year. Thanks for the feedback, and being specific on the date... it's this kind of feedback that will ensure we do not lose focus on our customers.

I've been going to Archie's as long as I can remember, ever since it was on Stone Way, and it's never failed to disappoint or provide anything less than a stellar visit. There are so many good gift items here, from the novelty toys to the strange foreign instruction posters to the assorted odds and ends (New Kids on the Block trading cards, fingertip rubber monsters, magic 8, bacon strip band aids). There's also a deep and wonderful selection of postcards, including scenes of old Seattle, old movie posters and other strange scenes--buy some and send 'em to your friends. I seriously do about 50% of my holiday shopping here, year after year.
Pros: The amazing selection
Cons: Can be waaaay busy around Christmas
