Tulip is my favorite little jewel of a boutique. It has the most interesting mix of clothes with a strong point of view. I've found some of my most "classic with an edge" clothes there. The kind of things you can wear season after season.
The jewelry as well as the accessories are simple, understated and well-edited.
The sales gals are just great!
Always extremely helpful- finding sizes and giving honest opinions when asked for without being pushy or bothersome as I've experienced in other Seattle stores. Annie, the owner is often there and always helps to find the perfect thing.
Another bonus- Tulip is the only Seattle boutique I know of that carries Christy Turlington's Sundari line of skincare. There is nothing else like Sundari- it's the only high end skincare that has natural ingredients.
I always find something new and unique at Tulip!

Tulip is my absolute favorite shop. The lines that they carry are unique and impossible to find in the area, which is important to me since nobody wants the same stuff that everybody else has! The hip and friendly staff is always helpful- and since they know the merchandise inside and out, they can always turn you onto something new and wonderful. Going to Tulip is a great experience!

What a good feeling to leave a boutique absolutely gleeful at having found the perfect pair of jeans, the perfect sweater, the perfect T-shirt, belt. I have walked away from Tulip like this many times. Not only is the ambiance relaxing and nice, the staff is very attentive and helpful. I would recommend visiting Tulip to anybody looking for a great shopping experience. You will surely walk out with an item you love and most likely an outfit you love!!

Tulip has the best selection of new and cutting edge designers anywhere in Seattle. When I need to know what's going on in the fashion world, this is my one and only place to get the scoop. Besides all that, I love the cozy feeling, the helpful and honest staff, the great extras like Malin and Goetz and Sundari skin care, and the comfy couch to lounge on. And my favorite little extra treat is how delicious my new clothes smell when I pull them out of the bag! A little slice of Tulip in my own home. Love it!

Without a doubt, this shop is phenomenally curated. Every piece I've chosen from this shop is a favorite in my collection and I know I'll wear it for years to come. Annie Sparrow's eye is impeccable and I relish in telling people where I've purchased a piece after I've received a compliment on what I'm wearing. And more often than not I've purchased my outfit at Tulip. I whole-heartedly recommend shopping here, especially if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind piece. Tulip is a Seattle staple.

so... you are right, i was wearing a deconstructed hoodie which could have been construed as being messy looking and inexpensive. but, regardlless, there was no reason the staff at tulip had to be so rude. i found the bag. the bag i have been looking for and was without hesitation willing to drop $700 on it. but because the girls there were just so mean and cold and unhelpful i found that bag online and purchased it there. i like my sloppy hoodie and i like wearing my sloopy hoodie with my $700 hand bag that i did not purchase at tulip. poo on you.
Pros: lovely accessories
Cons: horrid snotty staff

Tulip has cute clothes that not everyone is wearing - the staff is friendly and not snobby at all! I would highly recommend Tulip!

Unique and varied inventory, consistent style, and warm and friendly service. Tulip always seems to be a step ahead of most other boutiques in Seattle, most importantly without the snobbishness often found in others of its caliber (e.g. Les Amis). And I love that clothes are arranged by color - simple and efficient.
Pros: nice people, unique items, pretty clothing
