because you have a coat, odds are you won't be getting it cleaned frequently, so cleaning is not going to tear it up.
my mom has been getting cashmere cleaned at aaron's on queen anne for years and years and everything lasts and lasts as far as I can tell.

I love this place! My mom referred them to me and I have gone there ever since. Take in to mind there is only 2 people working there and they have half of Seattle wanting dresses made and alterations done, alterations don't take that long but having a dress made may take you a month. If you allow yourself enough time and call before you go pick up your items you'll be fine. I had a dress made for one of my drill team members white w/sequins and it only cost me $25. My new years eve dress was a size too big and they altered it to perfection. Our drill team banner was sewn there and it is flawless. I took 2 pair of pants to have zippers replaced and I took a shirt to be altered. The shirt was waaay too big. They did all 3 for $13. I refer them to all of my drill team parents for having sweat suits and dresses altered. I live in SeaTac and I drive to Seattle just to go to Adam's. It's worth it to me and I'm very picky!

I have no complaints about the service or timeliness of this place. However, I went over and over asking for dry cleaing, paying and picking up my clothes later. One time, though, I went in and asked for dry cleaning and the lady told me they just laundered shirts for the price I’d been paying. Dry cleaning was $5 more. I’ll be looking for another place after that.

I cannot say enough good things about this business. The owner/operators are so friendly, it is like going to visit friends when you drop off your clothes. They always remember our names and ask about our son. They go above and beyond the ordinary - carrying your dry cleaning in an out of your car. The quality of the work is excellent as well - we are always please when we pick up our clothes. They are open late - until 7pm on weeknights, which makes pickups on the way home from work a breeze. This is a great little business and I highly recommend it!

If you're like me, you want what you want! In the department of clothing, this can be expensive and time consuming. I don't buy tons of clothes but instead, I save for the good stuff.... and then I wear the hell out of it!
The only problem with this is when I have an incident. You know, the occasional "Mommy, pick me up," oops there goes my hem. Or the " quick, my ride is here" ...oops I snaged my shirt on the counter. Well, never fear, Alterations & Reweaving is here! Phyllis and Sharon will not only repair the small suff, but will actually reweave the mysterious hole in your $400.00 Yamamotto knit top!
After you pick your stuff up, continue on wearing until thread bare!

I have used Ange's for years in Seattle and have always been extremely satisfied with the service. After moving to Arizona, I still use Ange's for special needs, like having my Mother-in-Law's wedding dress cleaned and preserved as a gift. Ange's did a beautiful job cleaning and packaging her dress in a keepsake box, gift wrapped it and shipped it to her in time for Chrismas. Even though we no longer live in Seattle, we visit often and I will continue to use Ange's for all of my important dry cleaning needs.

I was new to seattle and had a wedding to attend on the upcoming weekend. My usual drycleaners was out in issaquah and so I would have to drive out there to drop off the items and retrieve the items. Not very convenient. I started making calls to all the top places on city search. No luck finding a place that would attend to the two suits that I needed cleaned and to the small alterations on one of the suits was going to be harder than I had first thought. Least not a place that wouldn't break the bank. Then I found Apex and was told not to worry about the cleaning and even quoted at a lower rate than all the competitors. Well the quite was off but Apex still gave me the alterations at the said price. They even got it done in a more than timely fashion. I will recomend Apex to all my friends and family for future needs and adjustment.
Pros: Stick to quited prices and hold to great customer service
Cons: none

Bakker's does a good job, nothing less, nothing more, pretty much what you would like in a dry cleaner. Unfortunately, their cleaning is done off-site, so getting clothing expedited is generally not an option, thus one has to be on schedule and thinking ahead with their dry cleaning if you need a particular article for a particular day. Because their location is little more than a storefront, I wasn't exactly awe inspired by their tailoring services, although they managed to do an adequate job on loose buttons. One bonus is that we received a store credit after about every ten visits or so (at $30 to $50 per visit for a week's worth of dress shirts and pants with suits here and there), which ended up to be about one to two weeks worth of free dry cleaning. There is another dry cleaner right around the corner from this Bakker's location that I never tried, so clearly Bakker's did a decent enough job to retain my business.

When we moved to the neighborhood, we tried out several dry cleaners in the area. Bakker's was the best of the lot. Their prices are reasonable and they also offer a stamp card to provide an additional discount. They generally take ~3-4 days to get clothes back to you, but can be faster if you ask.
