My experience was great at the Tukwila location. I found the staff to be friendly and the products great for the price I paid. I am surprised with the reviews that some people have wrote. Im sure its not the best customer service in town but come on with prices like this i don't expect customer service to be a big WOW. So I think that my entire experience with JR Furniture was wonderful and would recommend this business to all my family and friends.
I have also purchased my bedroom furniture from the location in Lynnwood WA and again have nothing but good things to say about this business.
Instead of reading the negative reviews I recommend that you go yourself and have your own experience so that you can see for yourself that it is worth saving a few hundred dollars, expecially with the difficult economic times.
When a person has a bad experience that want to hell at the top of there lungs. However, when you have a good experience we don't share our thoughts as loud. I really want to share my great experience as I felt that some of the reviews below do not justify my experience with this business.

I needed new furniture for my new house. I shopped every where but nobody had what I liked. Above all its hard to find everything in one place and for the right price. I didn't know furniture shopping would be so tedious. My husband was very frustrated with me. Then I went to JR furniture in Lynnwood, referred to me by a friend of mine. I was happy of their selection and prices. My sales person was very knowledgeable and he knew exactly what I wanted. He also gave me very good price for everything. It was a one stop shop for me. I got all my furniture fairly soon, although I was expecting everything next day. Over all, I was very happy of their furniture and service. I will always go to JR furniture if I ever need any more furniture.

Bought the furniture in a 2006 and it had fell apart on me a few months after we got it. In addition, the dining room chairs were garbage. The seat would not screw into theor cheap fake wood. The recliners were missing screws, and ended up falling apart. When I moved my sofas to clean, the wood split. The bed frame I received was made has three cheap pieces of plie wood to hold the box spring and bed up and we must have had to fix 5 times already. The paint on my daughters' bunkbeds was supossed to be black but still had red streaks and the ladder would not screw once again into the cheap wood. My daughters' bed has the same exact plie wood and hers cracked already. I DEFINITLEY DO NOT RECCOMEND THESE CHEAP CON ARTISTS.

As my family entered the store, we were greeted by a friendly sales professional Mac. First of all he understood our requirements, listened to our budget and then suggested quite a few furniture sets that met with our expectations at a very attractive prices. He wasn't trying to sell something in stock but in fact had us go through all their catalogs to make the informed decision. I had already done my research by visiting furnituredirect (local store) and www.ashley.com on the website. Rates provided by Mac were unbeatable. The delivery came in time ($59 charge) and everything was in order. I will highly recommend to meet Mac if you are visiting JR furniture in Tukwila/Seattle.

i have no idea why i went buy at this store. i had heard bad reviews from other people, but they had good prices. now i know why. its easy to offer good when you never plan to actually give a product. i purchased a house full of furniture $5000. thats a lot of money to me. my biggest regret is i paid in cash. they gave me a 2 week lead time. here i am 6 months later with no furniture. NEVER BUY FROM JR FURNITURE!!!! the owner ROOP SHOULD DIE!!! he told me i would never get my money back nor would i get the furniture. since i paid cash, i had no paper trail to sue. lets bomb delta park!!!

I recently shopped at the JR Furniture store in Delta Park, Oregon. I was assisted by a salesman by the name of Mike Miller. Mike was very thorough with his knowledge of furniture and sensitive to my needs. He took the time to accomodate me and I was very happy with his services.
A couple of weeks after I shopped at JR Furniture, I returned to the store to suppliment my prior purchase but was advised that Mike Miller was no longer affiliated with JR Furniture. I was assisted by another sales person,who followed me around the store at a very close range and just angered me in the pushiness of his nature. I ended up buying nothing and will take my business elsewhere.
What JR Furniture needs is more sales people like Mike Miller

I recently shopped at the delta park store. I met Mike Miller there very nice,courteous,knows his furniture inventory well, and is very very patient,also does not hover like other salesmen. I bought several things there. I didn't like the way the other associates tried to steal my business from him.. I went back a few days ago and was rudely informed Mike Miller was no longer there.
What is wrong with this world? Why can't we have more furniture salesmen like Mike Miller..If anyone knows what furniture store he is in now please let me know? I would love to purchase more furniture from this man.

I don't know who is putting 4 and 5 stars on the reviews but it's probably the @#$! owner of jr furnitiure. I hate this store. Never shop here and tell all your friends and family that these guys do not know how to run a business. They make the sale and then they are done. If you get damaged furniture delivered to your house, fix it on your own and then you have to fight them for it.
There has to be a way to shut these guys down. Customer after customer are becoming victims!!!

Bought a couch from their store in Lynnwood. Upon getting it home found I could not get it thru the narrow door of my mobile. Asked if I could return it the lady who answered the phone, Jo Ann, said I could return it for an in store credit. I was a happy camper. Less than an hour later the mgr. called and recinded the offer. I asked if he believed in customer service. He said he did but would not budge.I offered to pay a 20% restock and he still said no. His solution was take the couch apart and try with 2 pieces. Not viable at 74 years old. So now I will do my best to steer my friends away from this store. Not only have they lost me as a customer, who knows how many more I can keep away. Anyways be advised that they have a no return policy period.
