I have been suffering from back pain for 2 years and finally decided to look for a new bed. I went to the Sleep Country downtown and the salesman Jeremy asked me to take a nap on each of beds we chose and he'd check back with me. This was the most professional bed sales I have experienced. I have shopped at other mattress stores and Macy's and the minute I laid down on a new bed the salesperson asked 'what do you think'? Customers should sleep on a new bed for at least 20 - 30 min, not 5 - 10 secs, according to my physical therapist, before they determine whether it's the right one for them. Sleep Country has a free delivery and price guarantee policy, I walked out of the store with a $4000 purchase on a tempur-pedic bed which has helped reduce my back pains and improved my sleep significantly after only 2 weeks!!!

Sleep Country is the WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DELT WITH!!! The day we decided to finally pick a new bed, we went into the Federal WAy Enchanted parkway store. After some searching we decided on the Simmons Black eddition mattress - at a heft cost of nearly $3500. At this point - of course the salesman Dirk had been quite helpful. We did tell him we wanted to think about it for a night and would call him the next day - Being told- no problem, we can take care of everything over the phone we went home.
Pros: If you are bored, this process will tie up WEEKS of your time!
Cons: Horrible to deal with - no customer service, rude staff, selection is outdated in store

It was probably a bad idea to go mattress shopping and buy a bed from the first store I visited. I later found out, after having a horrible experience with Sleep Country, that they actually have some of the worst prices in the city. I originally purchased the bed, and arranged delivery for the following week, then gave my old bed to a local charity.
I walked out the door feeling like I had gotten a fairly good deal (they had been quick to knock a couple hundred dollars from the price and still offered "free delivery"). Had their delivery service not been so rude, and unaccommodating, I would have never found out all that I have since.
I was going to be 5 minutes late for my time window, and they refused to wait for me at my home, and said I would have to reschedule for a week later. This would have left me bedless for a week, and with me only 5 minutes from home, they refused to even leave the bed on the front porch. I promptly called the store to see if they would be more helpful, or get the delivery guys to wait for me, but the were even less accommodating; then I was so annoyed, and disgusted that I canceled the order. I ended up finding a wonderful store that had much better prices and they got me my bed the same day, after hearing all that I had dealt with (same mattress, different name, 2/3 the "discounted price").

I went to Sleep Country (Roosevelt) to buy a new mattress. I was helped by a salesperson almost immediately and after some bargaining, I decided on a twin size pillow top for about $375. When I came back to the store I told the man who came to greet me that I was there to pick up the bed. His smile immediately disappeared. He said ""didn't you bring someone else with you?"" and then glared at me. The salesman grumbled a bit under his breath and then said to pull my car into the loading area. I did so, and returned to the store. He was now selling to a woman and told me to wait. After about 10 minutes he rushed over to me, grabbed the mattress and instructed me to follow him through the store's back exit to the loading dock. He got to the edge of the dock, DROPPED my mattress down about 5 feet off the dock and said ""you take it from here."" ""What?"" I said, ""are you kidding? I can't carry that by myself and drag it 20 ft to my pickup and then get it in the bed by myself."" ""Sure you can"" he said. And just like that he left me there with my 8 year old son and a HEAVY mattress. Then a passerby saw me standing there (in shock) and I asked him to help me load the mattress into my vehicle.
Pros: Lots of locations
Cons: No customer service after you pay.

I paid 50-dollars for their ""convenient"" delivery service and was extremely dissapointed. The delivery people forgot the parts for the bed and did not set it up at the scheduled time. They said they wouldn't be able to come back at a time that was convenient for me. Basically, I had to wait two weeks to have something to sleep on. The manager was really unhelpful. It took about an hour of negotiations to get a refund for the crumby delivery service. What a bad experience.
Pros: Old mattress removal
Cons: Bad customer service

I bought a bed for my 15 yr old son, and it has a 10 year warrenty on it. After 2 years of use it was leaning so much to one side that you would roll into the wall. Very noticable and he woke up with a very stiff neck. I called the Burlington Wa sleep country where I purchased it. The manager (so he says) was very rude he even told me he never had the time to explain the policy due to customers that he was helping. Like I was not important or a customer.
Pros: close by
Cons: bad help, rude managers, don't like to help

I had a horrible experience buying a bed from Sleep Country. They delivered the wrong mattress twice, the sales guy agreed on a price and then tried to charge me more. Bad customer service!
