It's weird to write a review about a French restaurant and talk about a hamburger. I have to tell you though, it's the best I've ever had. It starts with 7 ounces of Kobe beef with melted brie, sauteed onions, butter lettuce, and tomato situated on a tasty bun served with french fries of course. This hamburger has addictive qualities and I find myself craving one regularly. I'm hoping it doesn't ever disappear from the menu. Classic french dishes prepared traditionally and presented without a lot of fuss such as coq au vin and cassoulet are also found here. Specials of the day vary which keeps it exciting. I find the menu at Voila! is one that you will either like or love!
Pros: great food, ambience, service, and value
Cons: can be noisy when busy

Only downtown Seattle restaurant I've eaten at this year that I have gone back to over and over again. Consistent quality food and service! No snootiness I've come to expect from urban restaurants.
Pros: Food and Service
Cons: Atmosphere is not what I would call warm and cozy.

The Melting Pot is the perfect location to take a date for a special occassion. It might not seem like a lot of food, but you can get one of the complete meals which will fill you up. This was pretty pricey though (about $80-includes appetizer, entree, dessert). But the food is GREAT and you never get tired of the same dish because you get a variety of different sauces and foods. What's more romantic than preparing your meal together?! This dimly lit restaurant has romantic seating which is isolated or group seating fo a more vibrant experience. If you do go for a special occassion, let them know in advance and they'll leave a rose on the table and take a complimentary picture of your special someone and you.

We first discovered this place a few months ago, and have since been back about a dozen times. We're nothing short of dazzled by the food -- pastries or sandwiches all handmade at S&S! -- and coffee. Our Saturday morning ritual involves a long walk with our dog and a stop at Sweet and Savory for a snack and an espresso. The tables and chairs and benches outside are perfect for lounging. We're always delighted!
Pros: Delicious Food, Great Coffee
Cons: None

We've gone to Rovers for both brunch and dinner and in both cases were blown away. Without a doubt the best brunch in Seattle, handily beating out Tilth, which was our previous favorite.
For dinner, we had a fantastic meal, where everything was perfectly cooked, including the best lamb I have ever had. Across the board, ingredient quality was exceptional and everything was perfectly cooked. They also went above and beyond on the wine service, being generous both on the amount and the quality of the wine poured.
Pros: Amazing food and wine

Went here for some app's and drinks on a nice day, right below the market and very friendly atmosphere, not huge, so we had to wait a little while to get a table, but very friendly and tasty.
Pros: View, Scallops
Cons: Good service
