I have been dining here for business and pleasure since it has opened - the food, usually excellent, but not consistant - the one thing that brings me back (and everyone I know!) is the BEST piano player in town! Junie knows more tunes than any musician I have met, always has a smile, and knows more about Seattle than most concierge! She has made many a birthday, anniversary and business dinner special!
She is a treasure to Seattle and to this hotel.
Pros: live music!
Cons: ok food

I have to confess, one of the things I love most about this place is the chef. And that they serve Estrella Creamery Cheese. And well, That there's a fireplace and cool art on the wall. And that I love the food, especially the specials, which are always a delightful tasty suprise. I had a truly memorable piece of salmon. and in Seattle that's saying something.

The name comes from the 22 salvaged doors from the Camlin Hotel used to make the bar, liquor case behind it, and adorning the eclectic decor. The chandelier comes from an old Red Lion Hotel.
Their drink menu boasts 22 specialty drinks too!
Providing a fine dining flare, the place isn't as pretentious as most of its kind.
With a starter menu serving shoe-string fries in a truffle oil, clams, their entrées provide 7 different dishes. From a game hen dish reminiscent of a Thanksgiving meal, to Pork chops, and Angus beef Burger, one can also opt for their house tomato soup and melted cheese sandwich.
*I had the burger, and must say it was the BEST hamburger I've ever had. Moist, flavorful, not overloaded with sauces, and the bun didn't make up half the burger. It was mostly meat, greens and other garnishes.*

This place reeks of being an Irish pub. Family's come with the kids to have dinner. The food from the kitchen is marvelous, the Guinness always good, and the bar selection is wonderful. On a busy - and they do get busy - Friday or Saturday, the service can be a bit harried, but if you're in a hurry, you don't belong in an Irish pub.
Pros: Great atmospher, great food, and great bar.
Cons: Don't know any

A nice reprieve from most dining options in Seattle. The service can be a little shakey but the food, decor, atmosphere, wine, drinks etc are traditionally excellent. They tend to use local ingredients so their menu changes often which is nice. 35th St. Bistro is becoming a classic Seattle restaurant and bistro. They have a new lounge which is ok - their dining room is where you want to grab lunch or dinner. I hear they have a very nice yet busy brunch on the weekend.
Pros: Food, wine, atmosphere - overall experience is excellent
Cons: Service hot and cold

I will generally do one of two thing going out for breakfast on the weekends, Dim Sum in the International District or the 5-Spot restaurant at the top of Queen Anne. It is not the best breakfast I have ever had, but easily the best in Seattle. Fresh quality ingredients, imaginative chefs, generous portions and nice atmosphere. Every time family and friends visit, a stop will be made here.
