Duke's on Lake Union is probably one of the best-kept secrets on the Lake and in South Lake Union. The food is good, the service is usually pretty good, and when it's nice out, it's very difficult to beat the outside patio. When the wind is out of the north (like it is most of the time we have good weather), the floatplanes from Kenmore Air approach their landings immediately overhead, which is quite an experience. In the winter, sitting by the fireplace inside can be quite nice. Car parking can be tough, but they do have pretty good temporary boat moorage -- although it's the best-known temp. moorage at South Lake Union, so it fills up quickly on nice weekend days.
