I met my friends for a glass of wine. It''s a good place to just relax. However, there was 4 of us and we couldn't find a table. We went during the week and it wasn't very busy but the tables were taken. But we found seating at the window and it worked out ok. The service is great, the food tasty. I think lighting makes the atmosphere and Bricco knows this well. Good place for a date. Pros: Atmosphere, menu, service Cons: seating

I have been in the restaurant business for over 15 years and I experienced Bricco for the first time on 3/19/08. I was overwhelmed by the outstanding service and food. The food arrived quickly and deliciously. Our waiter was always on top of it and we are train wrecks when we go out. He never intruded but, we always managed to have everything we needed just at the right moment. I had the Greek salad which all the vegetables were crisp and cold. i then had the lasagna, when I came to work the next day I told all the employees about the vegetables in the lasagna. We will have many celebrations to come at Bricco. Pros: Everything price food drinks wine service Cons: nothing keep up the great work

I took my husband to Bricco for a celebratory dinner- the food was great- we had the manicotti and the baked ziti. Good selection of beers. All white wines were $9 and up except for one chardonnay. Most of the seating is along one side of the restaurant on a shared bench with tables in front of it- my advice is to find a different seat (over by the window or even at the bar) if you don't want to risk sitting next to people who rubberneck your meals and make rude comments about how many carbs you're eating.... First and foremost, this place has all that I could ask for in a wine bar. Great ambiance, amazing food, cozy-feel, and not to mention the wonderful wine list. Whomever creates their wine list must have knowledge up the ying-yang about all different wines around the world! I make an appearance to Bricco at least once a week, and this place has an incredible wine list from great glass pours to some of the best bottles in the world! From someone that has extensive wine knowledge, please don't listen to those who have no respect for a quality wine bar that cares about their inventory as much as their customers! I find it amazing with so many fine wines in the world this place has missed them all. The wine we did try was too young and I cannot believe that anyone actually tasted it. This is a great poser place passing for a wine bar. It did look like it had some decent cheeses, but the waitstaff was so slow and confused we never had the chance to try them. The good news is they can be purchased across the street at Metropolitan market. Take my advice go there get a better bottle of wine and service and take them home. Leave this place to the people who do not know anything about wine so they can feel tragically hip. Pros: It did not smell bad inside Cons: Overpriced for crummy wine

I usually wouldn't write this, but a friend sent me the latest review on Bricco and I think it is ridiculous. Dining is meant to be an enjoyable experience. We go out to escape and take a little time for ourselves. You may not like everywhere that you go..they may not like you. But barring being rude(service) or rancid(food) let it go, you are not Nancy Leson for a reason. Dont try and undermine what most people, other than a few, think is a great place. Cheese is expensive, especially GOOD cheese! Ive seen some of the cheeses on Bricco's list go for $40 a pound around town. I know because Ive tried to buy them for dinner parties! The fact t is there are 30+ cheeses on the menu (30!) There is NOWHERE else in the city that boasts such a large list. Bricco has a great atmosphere, not to mention awesome food and wine. Which is why I and most other people think it is more than reasonably priced. If you think thats too much to pay, don't go there. But dont try make the rest of us think we are getting the wool pulled over our heads. Bricco is as good as it gets. period Pros: Cheese list Cons: not being able to get in

We went to Bricco for the first time last night and had a great time! We had some wine, cheese, shared a salad and lasagna and topped it off with their chocolate molten cake. ALL were wonderfully delicious and simply made. The service was excellent even despite the fact that the place was packed and there was one server working eight tables. We will definitely go back to our new favorite wine bar! Pros: Fab wine bar!!!

I love Bricco. My friends love Bricco. It's a great place to meet my pals, whether it's for wine and apps (meats and cheeses or bruschetta or anything w/ their polenta!!) or an amazing dinner from a rotating menu. This little joint is awesome for dates or double dates. The meatballs are amazing--so is any pork dish they serve. The Greek salad is probably the tastiest and healthiest way to eat out and not feel guilty. The service is awesome. The waiters have helpful wine knowledge and fun personalities. Don't miss out....check this place out! Pros: service, rotating and new menu items, wine, Ceci bruschetta Cons: seating when busy
