Going to the gym has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. In Seattle, I have checked out, worked at, and been a member of most and I have found that for me, Mieko's just fits. It is located on Lake City Way. It is convenient, the hours are great, they have lots of equipment, it is clean and you can't beat the price. I am not sure how good the personal training or the group exercise classes are is as I have never taken advantage of those services, but for one who likes to get a workout done, Mieko's is a great place.

If you need a place to workout on your own routine than I would suggest this facility. Its nothing like the really nice 24 Hour Fitnesses. The fitness classes are very slim meaning there are not a lot to choose from. The trainer's seem really inexperienced and not that interested in their jobs. When I observe them training an individual they look entirely bored and are usually looking around the room to find more interesting subjects. I mainly go here to do cardio and to lift weights. I like coming here because its small and it meets my needs of getting in and out. If your looking for more in a fitness facility than I wouldn't recommend a membership here.
