I have been a member since 2006. There has been a lot of construction, but it is almost all over (or so they say). It has been inconvenient at times, but over all I have been very impressed with the staff, the improvements, and their vision for the future. If you have been waiting to come back to the gym - now is the time.
Good stuff: Personal Trainers, Classes, Fitness Clinics
Bad stuff: Construction

I've been a member of this gym since 2000. The guy who was in charge of the 5th and Olive gym (his first name was Glen) was not a good manager. He moved over to manage the West Seattle gym (near Delridge and Andover). I almost left because of how poorly things were going under his management. He's gone now and I believe the quality of the classes and programs have improved significantly.
West Seattle is the one I use most often: bathrooms are pretty wet most of the time, studios are in good condition, LOVE the class instructors. Especially Natalia for the step aerobics classes.
Queen Anne: one of the older gyms in the Allstar family and the wear and tear shows a bit in the locker rooms. Parking can be a headache depending on what time of day you go and whether or not there is a major event at the Arena or Seattle Center.
Key Tower: I've only been there once. Nice views. I'll probably try a few more classes there this year.
Fifth and Olive: I have not been there since they reconfigured the space a few years back.

I've been a member of the Downtown (5th & Olive) location for about 9 months now, and despite the fact that it's not the prettiest place, I will continue to be a member due to the great staff and no-pressure atmosphere.
What's good: Personal trainers, daily yoga and aerobic classes, low-key atmosphere (I usually hate working out with the weight equipment at the gym, but I don't feel weird or out of place here).
What's awful: The locker rooms (yuck. I prefer to be sweaty at work and really don't enjoy seeing so many of the over 40 crowd naked), music, lack of televisions to watch while on treadmill, etc.
